I have an E316G, i want to turn up the boost at 28psi, i had it at 25psi that's the most i could run with meth, now I'm gonna be running Meth with E85. :D

If i remember correctly my E316gG hold 25 psi almost to redline so i would like to know what can i do to hold more boost on my 16g? before i put it on the car again.

all my supporting mods can handle a maxed 16g so don't worry about that.

Shim the actuator with 5-6 thick washers, and t the wastegate line into the brake booster, after the check valve so the vacuum holds it shut. I could hold 30 psi to redline like this on the stock cams. With 272's and about every other mod there is it would hold 26 to redline.

you mean put some washers were the actuator bolts right? haha very good info. +1 for you. :thumb:

anyone else have done something else that you wanna share?

All I did on my e316g was shim the actuator and would get 32psi spikes and it would hold 28 psi until around 6500rpm

I actually just made the exact same wg setup with the help of jusmx141 and at open wastegate pressure I am able to hold 20psi to redline. This is with the stock cams and intake however. Either way, I was extremely pleased with the results.

Way off topic but did Tuners remove the "anti-bumping" feature? This poster just made three posts within a few minutes and the site didn't auto-merge them into one post. :hmm:

not with cams will that work. You will need to remove restrictions before and after the turbo. Study the L:ucas English setup.

I have found that a mafless intake, 2 1/2" intercooler piping with a fmic, and a straight 3" exhaust took me to holding 30 psi with the stock cams, and my modded wastegate setup.

The problem is that with a 7cm housing and td05h turbine you are making close to 2x the pressure in the exhaust mani as the intake when you get into the mid 20's psi in the intake mani. This blows open almost any internal flapper setup.

The first guy already told you to shim it.. LOL, your question was answered long ago, now get off the computer and go do it hahaha.

Its free (everyone has washers laying around) And works pretty much all the time.

On a side note, we normally use 2 or 3 washers depending on size.. 5-6 is pushin it a bit far.

yeah but people might have other ideas that might work better, dont you think? i'll try the washers but im considering the modified holset wga.

I would first just try and shim the wastegate. I have stock cams but with a shimmed wastegate and the MBC all the way up I hit 32psi and hold 28psi till about 6500rpms. After that boost still falls off and fast.

I don't agree with the Supporting Members getting the bypass.

OP, please post using proper grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, etc. You've been asked a few times by members and you haven't changed yet. Hopefully the warning you received and this post will change your habits.

I have seen your posts in another threads, so please if you dont have anything good to say about the topic GTFO, last warning.

I'm sorry, but you don't have the authority to say this. His intentions meant well, so please do not flame other members.

Sorry, i was typing with my phone when i did that.

Do what everyone else said and run a different actuator or shim the actuator, there really isn't much more your going to be able to do unless you go external and running that much boost with the 16g is going to make it not last very long.
