Could artictsi's car be any more immaculate???

It's straight off the show room floor clean and built for the track performance. I've never seen any interior shots however. How are you're gauges set up? S-AFC?

I believe his car was also in storage for like, half of my lifetime. Looks beautiful and clean though, thats for sure.

Popoff, your car is slow, no one cares about it except your boyfriend Mark! Seriously though, when is it going to be running, at this rate the grocery mobile will have you beat!

I just did mine... you can't probably tell, but its color changing...
Gunmetal base color, and switches to like greenish and purple mix... its weird...

does anybody know of a good do it yourself site for painting your valve cover? i would like to try it this summer, but as always hesitant that i will mess something up, i have to replace my valve cover gasket so i fig why not do it then.

i would have it bead blasted and powder coated....regular paint really isnt strong enough.....powder coat it so if you smack it with a wrench it wont chip :thumb: its not too expensive

I sandblasted mine then used 500° ceramic engine enamel from duplacolor. It's been close to a month now and it looks the same as the day I painted it.

I wanna see some custom painted valve covers just liek the title says!!

This is something I used to do a lot of with a friend of mine. I stopped doing it though because for all the effort it takes to shave a valve cove properly, the return is just not worth it. I have one white valve cover left if anyone is interested, PM me for details. Here is some more.

Not that custom but its mine so i like it. Plus the powedrcoating
really shines when not taking picture w/ a 10 dollar digital camera.
The shoestring looking things are silver plug wire covers to cover my
$17 yellow accel wires.<br>

god damn that one right above my post here looks tight as shit...what would i have to do/let someone else do....and how much would it cost to make mine look like that?

Step 1: print the above pic

Step 2: take to your local powdercoating place

Step 3: tell em you want yours exactly like that

Step 4: buy the plug cover and oil cap from a vendor

Step 5: install and say "hey my valve cover looks friggin tight yo"
