Here's one I'm working on. haven't taken any real good photos of it cause I haven't finished sanding down the letters.

But now that I see that Two Tone color I might do that.

that fake carbon fiber water jet stuff looks good. i almost didnt tell it was fake the first time is saw the stuff.

Quick question, can you powder coat something that has already been done? I bought a valve cover that was previously powder coated, but i want it bronze like my wheels. Is this possible?

Any problems with the paint burning? Stinking smell? I have been debating on doing mine. But, I do not want it to constantly stink. Or for it to look like poop after a day of driving it.

As long as you prep it right it will hold up. The first valve cover I painted I had for about 5 years and still looked great when I repainted it (I only repainted it for a color change). And I didn't even use high heat paint (although it's recommended). It's been about a year on the new paint job and still looks brand new.

Nah its ok ill just post some real free hand airbrush work from a tank i did:rocks:

Alsa Corp | Water Transfer Printing

It's not art. so I'm not impressed, I do this for a living so i can see through the stenciling.

Wait what???? you mad bro???? i didnt say it was art or it was air brushed it definetly is hydrographics but as far as it being simple???? LOL well good luck with that. Listen man you calling me out and saying your not impressed and that this is not art well explain to every one how your markham and craig fraiser stencil techniques are so unique when any one can do those old cheap tricks??? and btw the tank with the eagle is not a stencil and yet your still not impressed? wow!

Here you go every one keeles secret

http://www.chicagoairbrushsupply.com/crfrauchtrsp.html
here you will find keeles awesome secrets in airbrushing with pretty much stencils.
And dont get me wrong i dont knock stencil work at all but for you to say that my work is stencil???? come on man !
Dude i dont know why you would hate from one artist to another we are suppose to stick together and just because some one likes the carbon fiber dipping it does not mean its not impressive ok?

Heres another free hand example show us exactly where you can buy these stencils? and yes i do it for a living too:hellyeah:

wow...........:aha:

I wasn't downing you at all, i'm not a fan of hydro transferr thats it, your eagle looks good but it's not a valve cover, although your women on the other hand need work.

Also you are mistaken in the methods i use as well, as dvds' I know they make them, but i haven't seen any and refuse to, so that it won't taint my own thought pattern.

Keep up the progression man, even if I don't like one of your pieces, doesn't mean I don't like all your pieces. I think you felt threatened by my comment, which tells me you took it out of context and tone. People asked how it was done so i linked it up even though i'm not a fan, it's that simple.

As for trying to bash me for doing so, shows your lack of integrity man. Not kewl at all. :nono:

I'd love to see more of your valve covers, but i'd hate to see this thread be deteriated over different opinions and styles. When in the end, thats really the point.
most my work is on harleys and all over cars and don't belong in this thread heres a simple examaple.

okay, It's been way to long, but i was sent a bunch of covers for a supporting shop on the site, and a 2 week hopeful deadline, was blown out of the water, when 1 month late i still am not completely finished with them.
I have spent a ton of time on these things, more than i should have.. I know, but as soon as they are complete I'll be posting them up, I'm excited to see them done.
