manifolds that work with holset hx35 hx40

MAP should make the t3 manifold with a vband o2 housing instead of the 4 bolt. This way we can use the stock 12 cm housing or the bep t3 housing.
Would it work? Or maybe punishment racing Could offer something with their budget manifold.

I've been meaning to look into manifolds i've had my holset sitting on my computer desk for almost a year now. I want to bolt it up with the 12cm^2 housing the punishment one sounds great. what kind of spool times are you seeing?

Is there anyone with a h1e with the bep hx40 bolton housing and evo3 manifold. That is going to be my setup but I don't know if it will clear the fans.

What is everyone using as a dent tube when theyre running a wastegate off the manifold and have intercooler piping that runs by the bottom of the radiator etc? Seems like a really tight fit..

So assuming I was using a factory manifold, what is the consensus for a decent amount of downward spacing? I was looking at these adapters. Looks like they space it down 2.5". Hoping to keep the factory 16cm t3 housing and internal gate. (hx-40). There is also a 1/2" thick TD05 to T3 adapter.

Also anyone making any kind of bracing for these monsters?

Maybe I'm not finding them but it'd sure help to know where you guys are purchasing some of these manifolds. Some of the ones mentioned that I've tried looking up but can't find...

RedJack, ERL, Revhard.

Have thought about the Treadstone or maybe Megan Racing T3 manifold but not sure about clearance of the wastegate with the Treadstone (from MAP) and not sure about the quality of the Megan Racing manifold.

Here is my SLS manifold with an hx40 and a bullseye t3 backhousing. Car is about a week away from running.

I did some test fitment with the hx35 today. Factory 2g manifold, BEP housing. No way you could fit a 2.5" drop. Would put you right in the middle of the engine mount. There is little to no space. Possible the 1/2" adapter could be used. I may try this with the 16cm holset housing.

Had to dent the water pipe and it looks like the drain shoots straight down into the motor mount. Factory fans also dont' fit worth a damn. I even cut out one of the supports and a section of the shroud completely. It's very tight and may fit a housing without the WG mount tabs on it. I'll see how the hx40 lines up. I may sneak by with OE the radiator fans. I'd like to mock up a taurus fan and get some real air flow going. I'll post results soon.

Can anyone confirm the fitment with the treadstone cast manifold with an HX35

Best way to contact RedJack racing is through FB. Here is his FB page >>>>http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=626015086

As you can see clearance is definitely an issue which is a problem bwhite had as well.

Almost had to get into the wastegate for it to clear but has just enough to clear the block and required no denting of the water pipe.

Link to the ebay manifold? Just curious to check it out.

The manifold is This style manifold I picked up locally for cheap.

I attempted to do this to a DNP knockoff with a mitsu flange but as soon as I got it I found there is no way you could possibly attach a wastegate provision and angle the flange far enough to clear the turbine housing. The collector is simply too short.

I dented my water pipe just a bit, but my 4" fp intake hits my shifter cables with my 2g manifold.

FP race manifold

HX40 in BEP bolt on housing

had to lightly dent the water pipe.. nothing major

Stock 2g manifold
Hx40 in BEP bolt on housing

had to dent the CRAP out of my water pipe. split one in the process. got the second one dented without creating a leak.
