How to Identify an EPROM ECU [Merged 5-9]

Just picked up what I am thinking is a 2g eprom and need to have someone who knows the eprom codes for a 2g verify please.

I know the sticker on the case states that is is a 2g eprom

MD312464
E2T61672
4614 E

I opened the case and the board does have a chip that has

EB23C
Board number JE331B677C
And 1672E on the white plug. The closest I found was EB23 and that was a 1g eprom. So is the EB23C chip for the 2g?

Ok I was just making sure because I looked at an ecu id page and I only saw eb23 eprom chips specified for 1g's so I didnt know if covers had been swapped or not

Ok so I got this 1g ecu that looks like an eprom, but the model number MD166255 shows up as a non-eprom ecu everywhere I look and for a NA eclipse. The info on the casing is

MD166255
E2T36572
0625 E

Is this a true Eprom? and if it is could it be used in a 1g turbo car for DSMlink? I looked at the ECU guide on their site and didn't even see this model number listed. Picture below

Yes ,that is an eprom ecu. The bottom right corner has the "eprom chip" e930. Now as far as what it's from I don't have a clue. Contact Tom or Dave at Dsmlink, they would be able to tell you for sure.

What are you looking for? You know that 90 are wired different then 91. And i not sure what car you looking for but i see your car is a 2nd gen.

More pics for people to hopefully see when searching, because I sitll am not convinced it is or is not an EPROM. The person I got it form pulled it from a 95 GSX, and is a member of these boards, (KillaDSM). I have no doubt he did pull this form a 95 GSX, he has no reason to lie to me, but I can't find the model number on DSMlink.com so.. what do you guys think?

I say yes it is, the eprom is where it is supposed to be at the bottom right, but.. why are the numbers not matching up, anyone know?

thanks!

Wow, that's weird. You can see there are slight differences between that one and this one. Then again I never really paid attention to other eproms besides looking at the chip.
