Hi. I understand the 2gb Talon front bumper and side moldong are hard to come by.

I want to recreate these components out of fiberglass and I’m wondering if anyone would buy them.

I think that's a pretty good idea.

Keep in mind that you will have to become a free lance member in order to produce and sell them here.

I'm sure if they were quality repros then there's a customer base for them, just have to make sure fitment and quality is as good as or or better.

Aftermarket body parts are tough to get right and require a lot of work when catering to the dsm crowd, especially the 2gb talon group. If you can keep cost reasonable and make a quality product, go for it.

As @BLACK'98DSM said, be sure to follow the vendor/freelancer rules for the site if you intend to sell them on here.

Carbonetics already makes an aftermarket replacement 2gb talon bumper with a bigger FMIC opening, so you'll be competing with them. As long as your quality, price, and turn around time is better (the bar is pretty low) you should be fine.

I've been looking for an OEM 2GB Talon bumper for 6 months now, I haven't found anything within 1000 miles of me.

I don't think I'd ever want to run a fiberglass bumper with it being so fragile.

I've seen someone with one of the Carbonetics front bumpers, and it doesn't appear to fit properly; at least that's what the picture looked like.. Or maybe their Carbon Fiber version fits better, and the fiber glass one just droops.

Update: I ended up buying a smooth bumper from Ebay. A few months in with no problems.
