I had to cut my front bumper to fit larger cooler. I did not like the idea of just cutting extra material out as it would leave upper part of bumper missing. I made new cover to fill gaps between bumper and cooler. I still have bumper to paint and install it but here is what i have done so far with it. Hood vent has been made similar way.

Yes it seemed like enough simple to do. Just got some iron and welded it around cooler. After that just welding flanges where to hook it from. I think only thing that was on the way is power steering cooling pipe so had to make new pipe behind cooler to get it closer to radiator.

Nice work there. It does make it alot smoother for sure, good fab work on the mounting, keeps it nice and secure
