New Features Suggestions

And am finishing up ECU Boost Control.

I doubt it would take much more time. Here in the next few weeks, if he hasn't at least come back to give us an update, I plan to sell one of my H8's to get an evo computer. I really thought bcs was coming. Hopefully he will do what he said he would do. I don't mind giving him more money to do it because he has put in a ton of time. I feel he deserves to get paid for his contributions, time, work and putting up with free loaders.

It would be nice if he would at least let us know that he will or won't update the software so some of us can move to something else. He doesn't even need to explain, just a simple "I'm done" would be good. I wouldn't blame him one bit for completely dropping it, I would just like to know what's going on.

I'm not sure if I'm more interested in boost control or in the 99GSX rom being used. :hmm:

Can someone explain what is the use of Ceddy's ecuflash roms and defs for the specific vehicles and years? I thought all you needed was his ceddymods rom that you either buy with the big maps and SD or freeload off of? (unfortunately just freeloadin' off of at the moment until I get a little me experienced with tuning then I'll spend the money for his SD and big map stuff)

I just bought my tactrix cable and will be getting it shortly. As soon as my car gets out of the shop with the new transmission and transfer case in i will start tuning it up.

On another note... CEDDY COME BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need alittle help trying to figure out why I'm running so lean on spool up and why my injector scaling for 1200cc is at 839cc and I'm getting knock. Any idea if this has to do with the rom or something not tuned right.

here is my log and ROM
Desktop.rar - 0.06MB

I was guilty of this too but, this thread is not for questions like this, if you have any questions pertaining to flashing ... use this thread
or make your own thread.

Any idea of a way to get ahold of him? He doesn't respond to emails at all. We could just start flooding his forum with traffic to see if that will get his attention LOL http://ceddy.us/forum/index.php?board=9.0

Has anyone used the w/g adjustments in the current ceddymod?

Maybe if you donate he will respond. At least he did to me 1 year ago

I bought his software and sent him several emails but, he has yet to respond to me. It's hard to understand why someone would put so much time into something and not finish what they said they would. If he came back, and charged 5 times what he is now for his software ... I would pay it. And I'm sure many other people would too. The only thing that makes me wonder, is that he hasn't come back to tell people he is OR isn't going to do what he said he would. Regardless of how much the guy has done for the community and for the free loaders ... that's pretty shitty. BTW I was a free loader too. I probably downloaded his software a dozen times before I actually used it. LOL

He deserves to be paid but, he also should respect his customers AND the community enough to tell them what is going on. Especially when they are still "donating for development."

I'm on there. I go on every once in a while. It'd be nice if everyone who used the 99 flashable ECU signed up and made it grow.

I completely agree. And it's kind of a touchy subject but I think you laid it out well enough that not even Ceddy could take offense. I like where your head's at.

Who here DD's their car and tunes for gas mileage?

I have question and I hope that someone can help. I'm running the latest version of ceddymods. It's a tune that he set up for me, but now I'm going to change injectors and so I have a question about the dead time settings. I'm now running Denso 660s and I'm switching to FIC 950s. So, here's the part I'm not sure about. I was told to start with .200-.300 for dead time, but is that based on switching from original 450s now I would think that Ceddy put in an offset for my Denso 660s, so, if for arguments sake if he put in a .250 dead time and I put in .300 won't that make it .550? Do I have to back out his offset? Any help will be really appreciated

Please refer to the post above you.

What does whatever that is have to do with my question?

Did you even read the post above yours?

Regardless of how you worded your question, it shouldn't be in this thread. It was a general question about how to scale your injectors and set your battery offset table.

Okay, now I see. I did read it, I just didn't see the link on the small screen.

Looks like the domain went down. Does anyone have any information about whether this was intentional?

I've sent him an email. It took him a while to respond last time. He sold his DSM a while ago and has been out of the game since. I figured he was still making enough to keep the domain up. But like I said in the other thread, if I don't hear back from him this week and the domain is till down, I'll assume he's done for good and post the files for download.

Does anyone know if more CELs have been discovered or how we can find them? I'd be eager to have a rom with a more complete list of CEL options.

I'm not sure what to tell you, but this thread my have some good information for you. If you know what code you are throwing but it is not currently a bit to edit, you could look it up in the following chart, edit the xml and make it editable.

How to edit the definition xml: Jump around until he starts talking about blobbits.

Might give him a bit longer than a week before just letting the cat out of the bag... So to speak.

I know as much work as he did on this and help he gave on these forums and others, He deservers at least some time to respond... :)

The good news is that the internet archives websites. It's not perfect, but we can still retrieve some information, but stuff like the rom and def will be gone. I'm pretty much at square one for ECUFlash tuning right now, so I really wanted to review Ceddy's injector tuning info again. Low and behold, the site has come down, but I was able to access it through an archive.

ceddy.us

I have no idea how long it will be accessible, so I took the liberty of making a PDF of his injector tuning page:
