I don't like it. The lines don't flow well with everthing else. How much improvement is there? It's not like you can measure the actual airflow improvement, if there is any at all. I would say that the improvement is negligible, at most.

gtfo!

I like it, its something different :) :thumb:

Nice job bro. Better than most that I've seen. Good work. :rocks:

damn bro your car look like its mad.. I love how it looks kind of remind me of r33 bumper

I think you should have done the whole thing like the middle part without the lil circles.

I know this is and old thread, But as a good DSMTUNER I searched and found this is one of the only thread regarding to Vent in the Front Bumper.

I am thinking in cutting vents in my front bumper. I just got a new FMIC and it it is a little bit taller than usual and I don't want the FMIC to get Heatsoaked. and that is why I want to cut the bumper for extra air... plus I like the look.....

Well what do you think? if you have better Ideas. Or other pictures. I am welcome for opinions...
Also, which design you like the best?

Well I finnaly did it. For now looks like some holes but I like it. Soon, I will fill those hole with a black MASH that match the center piece in the headlight.
For now I am happy, What do you think?

What are most of you doing about the front bumper support?

Cutting it to make room or else wise as in removing it?
What Bumper support? :p

You can get away by cuting it and leave the important parts (bracket) but you need to be creative and find a way to cut it (a really good and usefull tool). In m case i removed bcause I didn't have any tool....
If I find a bumper support in the junkyard (Mine is in the trash, long story:notgood:) I would install it againg and cut what I need to cut.

Just a little update!
I installed the Grill and looks 10X better! and the bugs better stay away!:thumb: IMO
BTW in case that you say "remove the grill in the bottom", you have to understand that this is "my DD" and there is a lot of rocks and bugs in the street and I don't feel like cleaning "it" everyday.... plus looks sleeper :D

sorry to T/J but is there any pixs of a stock 2g bumper with a vent,i have the Evo 8 FMIC,and it making my car run really hott,i need an idea,so if anybody has a 2g withe a vent bumper please post pixs please,or if anybody has pixs of a 2g with a vent bumper

Ok guys I haven't posted in a while but I am doing a project on my 92 Eagle Talon! Ok one thing I noticed about how the DSM's are built, they were not given much cooling room like the EVO was to let the car run alot cooler! Some might not look at it as a big deal but I wanna better my car anyway I can!! So what I was wanting to know does any company sell front bumper inserts so you can flow more air in through the Bumper which will cool my oil cooler and radiator alot better! For an example on the EVO's right above the FMIC cut out, there are two other openings for air directly above it! I wanna do something like that but a little bit bigger!

Rock the factory bumper, it looks amazing as is. Please no hole saw cutting. But honestly, it's your car do what you wand with it.

With out HACKing up your bumper and your bumper core suport there is not much you can do other than to replace the sock ducting if it is missing. Or fiberglass your own ducts.

Looks good. I need to learn how to not run up on parking lot curbs before I can justify putting time into bumper mods! Very clean cuts, impressive job dude.

I like it! Even better if you get rid of this.
