Support Marti and the rest of the VIP Garage crew for helping me get the parts and help I need to keep this daily driver on track and get to class everyday. Keep an eye out for Marti's/VIP Garage 2g time attack progress as he will be prototyping many new Road Racing Parts for the 2g.

Sparco seats w/ camlock harnesses
Autopower Roll bar
decent suspension
Rebuild my eagle/ross

Rebuilt Trans with Quaife front and Speed Design center.
Fidanza flywheel.
Moroso Oil Pan or Accusump...maybe both if funds allow.
2.5" Brake Ducts
General lightening.

I'm doing a full refresh on my existing shortblock. All seals, torque/specs, surfaces will be cleaned and inspected. Then I'm getting my 1G head built with some BC valvetrain, 280/280, and a fresh mill. Whatever my plans (and finances) take me, I might convert my 50 trim to externally gated or get a BW S258. My ultimate goal next year is to have a 400-450awhp (low 120's) street car that won't break down. Yes, that's saying a lot :coy:

Jtoby's car. Nice score. :thumb:

Check under the seats, you may score a calculator or two! ROFL

I will have to look. haha

As for winter mods:

Stuff that needs to be installed:
ACT Street-light flywheel
ACT2600 street disc Clutch
Front Mount I/C
FIC 750's

List to buy yet:
Stiffer springs for the front
TCE Brake kit (13in x 1.25in)
New rims to fit the new brakes

Things to do:
re-tune for 93 pump gas, 110turbo blue, and E-85
Corner-weight and new alignment
Air ducting for the brakes, FMIC, and radiator

My winter project plans are modest compared to most but they're still enough to get me excited. :)

install the parts I have lying around...
-EVO IX fuel pump
-Hallman Evolution MBC

Raise enough money for...
-Hahn Racecraft FMIC
-Apexi SAFC
-550cc injectors
-TURN UP THE BOOST!!

Yeah I am pritty set on the 13in x 1.25thick rotor. I will be calling up TCE to get them ordered in the next few weeks. Need to get a new clutch put in the car first.

This is my winter project that I just picked up last weekend. The car may look familier:

This is the Road Race forum man!!!!
QUOTE]

Be nice, now. We get many of our road racers from the ranks of drag racers. When they realize they can run WOT for 20 minutes at a time, four times a day, they often leave the ricers and teenyboppers behind and come over to where the big kids play. Just let him bring his beast to an HPDE one time, and he'll be hooked for life.

Hey, TurboMonk3, drive over to Heartland Park in Topeka, and run an HPDE next spring.

until he goes  "dam turbo lag"

Glad to see JToby's car is in good hands.

Winter plans:

New radiator + fans and from JNZTuning
New control arms from JET Performance

Fix the ecu, some oil leaks, replace the old rubber brake lines with stainless steel lines.

I've probably got more plans for my new truck than the racecar.

Hmmm, there is a track near here that rewards lag with OMG three times a lap! :sneaky:

If TurboMonky ever ran Road America with that monster car of his, and hit 150 or so down the three straights you are talking about, he'd never drag race again. After braking into Canada Corner from 150 to 70, he'd be looking for 1.25 in. wide rotors and big calipers instead of go-fast parts to run mid-10s.
