Home Made Motor Mounts
Basically the same thing poly mounts do, except I suspect that the window weld might be a little stiffer. All in all I see no reason why not to use window weld instead, it's muuuuch easier (no pressing out old mounts) much cheaper, and may be harder (not a fact just a hunch).
I guess the only downsides are that it's really messy if you're not careful and it takes at least one day of downtime to dry. (overnight if you put them in front of a space heater)
From personal experiance in being in 2 awd 1g's with prothanes and my own fwd 1g with window weld homemades. The prothane seems to transfer more vibration so I would like to beleive there harder. The other thing you can do is before you fill the stock mounts with the window weld is to take a plastic cutting board from walmart and cut little strips or plastic to fill the holes and then fill it in. Allows for less flex without all the excess vibration. I've been happy for thousands of miles.
, maybe it's because I can't build boost on the line yet. (ebrake broken and no link yet)
. Next week its 12s or bust!
go for it. im running a GS-T suspension on my "converted" AWD GS-T and its too low and i get some bad rub in the back. i would definitely think running a GSX suspension could only be a plus for you if you want it stiff. if your doing your suspension i suggest doing a RMDSM sway bar install too.
