Does no one like M&H? Was considering these for my FWD...

They are the best tires i've EVER bought! The last season that I raced every weekend (maybe 5 years ago or more), I had to buy MT's because i couldn't get M&H due to some restructuring buyout deal that was going on. But the M&H's that i had previously been using put the MT's to shame, it was too bad i burned them up after they were 2 years old. I finished them off in the burnout contest at a company picnic when i worked in auto parts salvage. I would have rather ran worn out M&H racemansters than new MT's LOL

Make sure you have new stiffer motor mounts and suspension mounts, along with some good shocks and springs up front.

After that, just learn how to drive.

same opinion here... my first time at a track was exactly the same: 60ft: 2.45; 1/4: 15.27s and 92.40mph

with no-grip street tires! I didn`t get another run with that tires, but I`m sure 2.3 should be possible... so maybe switch back to some good street tires?

I agree with 91tizzy...the tires are probably fine, you've got issues elsewhere.

I use those tires too and love them (check my profile for size). On street tires, my best 60' was 2.2x, and dropped instantly to 1.8x with just the slicks. They take some getting used to when you first get them, but they hook. No more feathering through the first 2 gears, just grab 'n' go!
