question 1:
all right. my car went up against my friends 2002 volkswagen gti 1.8t. i have a 1997 gst and when i bought it it already had an air filter, manual boost controller, and a catback with a welded straight pipe. now, i've been searching around and found out that most people said that a gst should be able to take a 1.8t gti, stock for stock. now his car is bone stock except for a muffler tip and mine has minor upgrades. so when we raced (we didn't race side by side but from him directly behind me just going straight, and for some reason my pops was the driver) he was able to keep up with me for a little bit and little by little he starts pulling up?!
how could this be? WTF could my car be slower than what it should be? how could this be possible?

i have a sunpro boost controller which i heard is bobo. should i still trust it?

We'd love to do roll races on the way to work and just have fun before we kill ourselves....id punish him everytime we'd race and all i had was a MBC set to 13lbs...this is when i was on stock exhaust...now i have 02 dump, downpipe, full exhaust....and i can easily walk him....id do a full tune up on ur car...plugs wires, fuel filter....and do a boost leak check ud be suprised how much of a gain ul feel when ur car dosent leak boost. Hands down u should take him.
