Did you apply air? They usually shoot out. You'd add a piece a slim board or place towels over the piston so it doesn't fly awayPicked up a proper AWD RR caliper for the Talon, to replace the FWD caliper that's in that corner now. Got the "stuck" piston out with a little leverage. Had to grind an extraction socket first, worth the sacrifice.
The piston is a mite corroded at the top. I've seen advice on a motorcycle forum to get piston corrosion cleaned up and replated. Is that possible for these?

Sh!!!!!!!t..... I concur... dont underestimate the multiple uses of a good pool noodle. Two things I have learned during this build
1. Pool noodles are excellent packing material for cheap
2. A paper clip is actually a multi tool (don't underestimate it's capabilities)

Curious about the clips on the each end. Years ago one went flying through the garage and I never found it. I’ve moved since. All the ones in the junkyards are so brittle from sun damage.Removed the wiper cover that was installed all janky and was faded as hell. There was about a pound of wet dirt and leaves under it
Painted it and the wiper arms. Does anyone know where I can get these covers and clips in the last pic?

Half day of work tomorrow, so a little late night action to get the cars ready for some weekend cruising/cars&coffee. Plugs and wires on the Prelude. Swapped the Eclipse back to the Samco hoses I was using previously... the HPS bottom hose from the kit that the seller tossed in with my intercooler when I bought it, takes a bad route right in front of the shift cables, enough to slightly obstruct.
Phone has been taking terrible photos lately.....

I TOOK HER FOR A DRIVE FINALLY after resealing the oil pan and everything else that sees oil.
4.7qt of fresh SAE30 Break in oil and a pre-filled Purolator filter went on.
Accidentally unplugged my AFPR vac line while doing cleanup, then I got idle surge. Then got the idea since I deleted my FIAV, to rig up a 12v NC air valve to a switch so I can toggle a controlled vacuum leak on startup, keep the revs cleanly bouncing while it comes up to temp so I don't have to tap the gas pedal myself.
Gassed up and found the fuel light refuses to go out. So that's cool.
Turned on the water/meth injection and that adds a little pep to her step and a bit of pop-bang on the decel.
Got stuck in stop and go traffic for a few minutes. Not fun with a twin disc!
"Your baby is baaaaaaad" commented a semi-attractive lady at Walmart
Enjoyed the open roof and let that stroker 2.3 and 20g scream through the exhaust cutout under my ass.

love commentaryMuch better. Love this damn car. Seriously if you ever think of selling that baby…Threw on my new set of wheels. Enkei TS5, 18x8 +40. Very excited as it took me several months to pick out exactly what I wanted.

Maybe a good idea for parts to post up in the 3D printed parts threads? Bet someone could make them.Curious about the clips on the each end. Years ago one went flying through the garage and I never found it. I’ve moved since. All the ones in the junkyards are so brittle from sun damage.
I replaced it but if I can get new ones count me in.

Took the car out to see if the o-ring solved the big boost leak and if I'm reading this log correct, the car was making 18psi at 4300rpms???
