Well I had to put this on a hold since i blew out my center diff and drive train parts.. broke both axels and both front lower control arms.

So I got all my parts and put them in last night and today well my older brother did most of the work if not all while I had to work and just helped him with what I could.

We put in a stage 3 transmission with ACT cluthch and ACT lighten flywheel, brand new lower control arms and axels. While we were working on it we might aswell put in my 16g turbo set up.. Evo3 16g pro welded shut, Slowboy cast iron mani, dejon jd pipe 2.5, tail wastegate and RPM open dump.. I fired her up today and she sounds like a beast..

just took these after a test run, also still got to block off where my old egt sensor was on the mani just put a bolt for tonight.

this was before install and before mani got coated..

Why do you have your wastegate pointed up? I've never seen anyone rout their dump tube like that.

I've seen people do that before in the 3g eclipse world because of lack of space, no clue why you did that with the dump tube though. Nice car nonetheless!

thats a lot of extra work on that dump tube

Was thinking the same thing. But hey, its your engine bay. Just a bi*** and a half when you have to remove something. My dump tube is poing straight down and angled towards the exhaust.

I like the Dejon piece, pretty cool. But like others, first thing I noticed was the dump tube...weird.

dump tubes dont even get hot to begin with specially that end mostly only get hot at the begining, yes missing a stud on my head broke when taking the old one off. putting on my built head now since my car skipped the timing and the valves probably bent :ohdamn:.. put my 272s hks camshafts and tune it on e-85 by wingz.. :shhh:

I'm suprised not one other person informed you, So i'm sorry to be the one. That is not an EvoIII 16g turbo. The turbine housing easily proves that by the turbine housing to exhaust mani flange :( I'm sorry I had to break the news.

A small 16g and regular big 16g 7cm^2 turbine housing fits right on perfect to the evo3 16g cartridge :idontknow: . . . Probably should ask for the part number on the compressor cover first.

You are right, But alot of people get sold regular 16g's and the sellers' pass them off as evo 16g's because some people do not know of the turbine housing difference. I guess I did jump to conclusions, I just did not understand why the turbine housing would be swapped out!

I am definatly in no way trying to cause negative comments. I just wanted to ''warn'' him, So to speak.. Just incase he just bought it and weren't firmiliar with the 16g varients and how to identify each part of them. I'm more then likly wrong, But I just wanted to mention it. Setup sounds great though, I'm sure you'll have tons of fun!
