T3/T04S 60-1 w/ T31 turbine wheel (stage III) and .63 A/R housing, GARRETT unit, no cheap crap. Tial 38mm External Wastegate w/ 1.0BAR spring. AGP Stainless Steel 4-bolt o2 housing. Turbonetics T3 manifold. This entire set up cost me exactly 1 grand, the best part is that it's all BRAND NEW! Ebay can and fellow dsm'ers can make miracles. Looking to get 15PSI at 3700rpm, and 30psi at around 4400rpm. Some SR20 guy with a GT30R wants to race LOL, bring it! Looking at throwing in crower rods/wiseco 9:1 pistons if they'll work, that should make for a nasty beast...and hopefully a reliable one. Thanks for looking guys!

How did you manage that? I've been wanting to go with a larger turbo, and an external WG set-up for some time. For the price you paid, its definatly do-able.

That setup looks great! Looks to be very promising indeed. You obviously got a great deal on that setup. I too would have jumped on that deal for 1k when I was looking.

Probably got it off a friend that never ended up usin the stuff. Obviously he didn't buy it from a distributor. If he did, he gets one hell of a discount.

same shit I got :) Excellent. I polished the compressor housing on mine and it looks GREAT!

I'd like if you reported back and let us know how much boost you can run with minimal knock :) I can only seem to get 21-22 psi out of mine.. without knocking a bunch.

Mine is a bolton pte with a t-350 turbine but I can run 25-26 psi with no knock at all on 93 pump gas. I havent tried going any higher but I think I might be able to squeeze 28psi out of it on pump. Also, this is with afr of 11.9-1 and 23* total timing falling back to 19 above 6k rpm.

Ya the guy i got it from ran it on his 1G at that level...must have something to do with the lower comp pistons on 1G's.. I can run 21-22 psi with like 12-13* max timing and 5 counts... Im still running on stock headgasket/everything motor wise. So I dont wanna push much knock. I also don't have a wideband yet... Thanks for the info tho!

You'll need to do some work on that turbonetics manifold before installing for sure.

My pics are gone but there are some still there. You will need to clean up and straighten the runners at the flange for sure. One of them is off pretty far. Also the collector can be opened up a lot and will benefit from porting quite a bit. Look at the pics attached in the thread. Mine were the same. You really need to clean it up a lot. I spent 5 hours pretty well with a die grinder on my air compressor. A dremmel will die trying to do this so dont even try unless you have lots of time on your hands to do it.

Also wear a mask when doing it, metal bits in your nose suck trust me.
