Unfortunately its 2 steps forward one step back with these powerful old cars. Such a beautiful car though.

Thanks buddy! Can't be any further from the truth. Pulling the head off tonight/tomorrow. Plan was to build the bottom end this winter but it maybe sooner now.

Ready for the machine shop and I’m running out of space and getting out of control ROFL I’m surprised the rotating assembly including the bearings all look to be in good shape for 130k.

Wow, 150K?, bearing and journals looks amazing :applause:

130 but who’s counting LOL.

The oil passage is complete garbage on our blocks. Not winning any porting competition but this has to be more efficient. Big thanks to Jafro!!

To paint or not to paint the bay...that is the question. I know it’s a lot of work...ughhh

Damn- sucks to see you going through this man.

Paint? Now is the time..........if not now, than when?

You will be so glad you did it once your done........its not that bad of a process. Most make it way more work than it needs to be from what Ive seen. Seems that you make good decisions.........so youll be good. Plus, from the looks of things, you will be waiting for certain things here and there anyway so it will keep ya busy.

Some goodies for the rebuild. Only order one dowel pin by accident. I’ll order the other when I order rings and bearings after I get parts back from machine shop. Dropping off balance shaft bearing to machine shop tomorrow. Should have everything back early next week. Guess I’ll mow the grass in the meantime
