Jake Hanhardt 9.20 @ 145 1.132 60' You have GOT to see this!

Hey Fellow DSMTuners!

I got my car to the track tonight and pulled off a "[email protected]!!!" I was working on a brand new tune and only got the car up to 36psi (42 is the normal.) I figured there was no way my night was going to get any better considering that I beat me old time be almost 8 TENTHS OF A SECOND!

The only way I was able to pull off this kind of tune was with a LARGE amount of assistance from Jake Montgomery EVIL~EAGLE JMTUNING... How ever you might know him. THANKS MAN!

Other wise Darren at FFWD and Shep for a great engine setup and trans setup. THANKS GUYS!

Ohh yeah, 1.132 60'.... Watch the videos and look at the slip. I think that anyone that has been reading track times for a while is going to agree that this is Legit.

But god damn a 1.1 60ft WTF You did exactly what I told you to do with the launch and beat me at my own game haha. damnit I need to get a 42r like right NOW!!

I hate to be the devil's advocate, but that wasn't a 1.1x 60'. More like a 1.3 or 1.4. Regardless, impressive pass!

I dont want you to take me the wrong way, I am genuinly curious as to what makes you think it didnt happen. The tubbed big slicked Pinto next to me believes it. I was 3tenths slower on reaction time and stayed ahead of him with his 1.4s 60'.

I then consistantly stayed ahead in the 330' 1/8 and then even pulled him on the topend to pick up another tenth.

I quess what I am saying is I let myself HAVE to be convinced before I would post about this. If you have a explainable reason as to why you dont think it happened, Please let me know.

some people... seriously... what was the last record for a 60' 1.2 by showdown? Did any of you watch the vidoe of it? The car was bucking back and forth horribly and you would think that would effect the time but I mean it was still a 1.2... I think its 100% turthful AND how can you tell just by looking at it from the rear?

Regaurdless awesome ####in run man! Those 42r's have tons of potential and your only at 36psi? that turbo has wayyy more top end in it for you!! Good luck!

Thanks to Everyone giving me the congrats!

I will say that it is possible for a track sensor to get a glitch. With that being said, look at the times of not only me but the guy next to me. I am working on getting another video from the other side of the car. I am hoping this will once more give a better perspective on the whole issue.

The fact is, if you look at the 330', and my time against the guy next to me it gives the matter a lot more truth. I am not saying that because I was ahead of the guy next to me makes it so. But it would make it so that not only my clock but his too would have had to have been off. The driver of the Pinto is at the track alot, and explained that he was seeing his normal time, and that I was ahead of him.

Again, If there is a valid and explained reason why someone things this isnt so, I will listen. But I would rather it be more than it more than likely isnt, so... NO

As far as his 60ft. I was a bit skeptical as well, but look at the 330ft. 3.671.

For example. My car went 1.500 60ft and a 4.343 330ft. with lifting on the 1-2 shift. Jake did not lift to shift, so I dunno guys, I think for sure thats a legit 60ft. Will he beable to repeat that 60ft? Maybe, we will see the next time he runs the car.
