      Many front urethane bumpers now come folded like that, my truck bumper even came folded into a ball with shrink wrap around it, most of the folds come clean if you lay it in the sun on both sides for a few hours, and the rest can be taken out...

      There is nothing on the maf to calibrate it with, some aftermarket ecu setups allow you to play with what the output of the maf means to your fuel map, but unless you have a reason to mess with it, then there would be no reason to manipulate it.

      If you have the means replace the stupid thing, welds look bad if you ever try to sell it or want to take it to a car show, there could be more damage than what you are having welded which means that it could break somewhere else, welding cast...

      There aren't many other adjustments that you can make, if there is no problems with the seals making contact in the wrong places then it comes down to the hinges being bent or something.

      One of the members on here was reproducing the plug wire separators from 3d printing. I run the Iridium NGK plugs myself as a suggestion from John Shepard, I have been running them for several years now with no problems.

      Not on that transmission, that pack also controls the line pressures and you never said if your car is shifting or if its staying in first gear or if its shifting, if its running in first gear, I can see it revving to 7k and not going anywhere...

      I wouldn't go jumping to conclusions on this issue, I have rarely seen a stock converter go bad, especially on a stock non turbo car, the 420a transmission had issues with the shift solenoid pack as it is, the problem could be there, it acting up...

      We dont calibrate the maf sensors on these cars. Your problem with the maf is either a connection problem or a junk maf or simply the wrong part for the car.

      I have interchanged n/t and turbo 1g clusters for testing, they both work as said.

      The housing is going to have metal shavings in it from doing that, make sure you clean it super good, I would pull it off and clean it on a bench.
