Went to ashcroft this weekend.Frantic racing(top fuel harley)rented the track for the day and my mechanic and i got an invite!!How do you say no to that? i was the only car racing...wicked day to just play around and tune. :DI had the 18's on,it was hard to get traction but when i did OMG Once again my car came home on the tow truck(Tranny this time)Here was my best run of the day(my second time out at the track).....

Here is the slip from the run where i nevr made a full pass.I think if had made a full pass(with perfect driving) i could have hit 11's :thumb: For 60' time on the list i'm right under shep!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

nice 60'. By your numbers your not driving to good. Your trap speed is awesome! Try and work on the shifting and get the 1000' down to mid/high 9's.

Wow thats an awesome trap for a 54trim, How much boost to get you to 119mph???

I have a 57 trim and on th 119mph pass we had the boost at 25psi!I'm thinking about upgrading to a
60-1.......I'm still undecided though:thumb:

Sweet I currently have the RS60T 60-1 and im trapping 112 @ 20-22psi Does that sound about right... Seems low to me but my wastegate is an internal and it blows open so my boost drops fast at redline...

I dont want to sound like a "honda guy" but i bet if you lost the 18's and got some nice looking 16's that car would hit 11's easily. they do look nice tho

my tires defiantly didn't help,I'm going to get a new smaller set for going to the track(like 15's 0r 16's)....We left last minute and i didn't have time to change them over(i was just gonna put the stock ones back on)Like i said before, i was having so much trouble getting traction. When i pulled off that 60' time of 1.517 i had just let some of the tire pressure out,i don't know how much that helped but my 60' time was awesome :D

Those are some badass 60' times. Very nice! :thumb: What launching method were you using to get times like that? Also, I didn't see anything to tune with in your profile besides the Maft translator, is that all you're using to tune with? Regardless, I'm definitely impressed :D

About launching the car, I figured it out last weekend... I rev to about 5-5.5 k, and fluxuate the throttle so it helps spool the turbo off the line, let the clutch out about 1/4 the way slowly, then let it out QUICKLY, not sidestepping though!!!! the tires would brake loose all the way throuhg 1st, and spin a tad in 2nd...... As for tuning, I don't have anything but the MAFT, and have to tune in 880cc injectors!!!.... I know I need more but limited funds are holding the new toys back???thanks for the positive comments :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

That is awsome for that amount of boost!!!! That turbo is BIG and flows great cfm's at low boost.... It would be nice to see what the improvement would be when you get an external wastegate..... you make me jelous that you got the 60-1   ..... good luck man :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
