satin black and beautiful build when the motor in my 1g craters I will be doing a very similar process as you every part in the interior is getting removed and cleaned and painted. as well as the under body and engine bay good to see you bring a dsm back to life that s what I did as well with my 2g i have now.

What is the color theme you want your bay to be? You going with red, blue or custom inter cooler couplers? I like either or the blacks to be honest with you. I have also seen some custom air brushing on valve covers that come out better than anything I've even seen.

ha i really dont know what color i want it to be, im pretty sure im going with either the black or gunmetal VC, i like the white but it would clash way to much.

anyways i have an update! i cleared my head lights tonight using the 3m headlight restore kit. i think they came out ok. only thing to complain about is if i needed to redo it again, i would have to buy another kit because 3m only supply's enough materials to clear two headlights.

i saw that blue before on the website and no doubt about it is sick, but i have 2 blue VC on my other dsm's and i want something different this time around.

the silver vein is interesting tho

New tie rod end links installed. And pulled my broken drivers side axle.

Nice build. One thing that bothers me, those dust masks provide NO protection from the isocyanates that are present in auto paint. Please next time use a correct respirator.

Oh and on the previous axle post, I'm pretty sure the rest of the half shaft goes there, where the bracket part of the axle bolts up to the engine block.

Hey thanks guys I thought they were a good buy.

The guy I bought them from had three sets of these bbs's and it was long talk to get him to part with one set.
But I ended up bying them for 750$. the wheels have 10k miles and the sticky advans have about 60% life left.

Reason for the low miles is his old evo got totaled out and he bought it back as a parts car .

Thanks man, to be honest i really dont know. this project will be going on a year in October and i havent even started putting the motor together.

i have a lot of other things taken car of
-interior
-suspension
-fresh engine bay paint
- Rims

all i really need now is Fuel setup, tuning, tranny, transfer case, turbo setup, exhaust.

so still a long ways to go.

just placed my order for my clutch setup with Maperformance.

i went with the map flywheel and Quarter master 7.25 twin plate clutch.

I bought mine from a girl up north of here. I think she was asking 700 but I offered here 600 and she took it. Mine still have the stock advans on them, with good rubber. must have pulled them when she got the car .
