I've been watching this from day one... sad to see it go. I'm doing the same thing to mine only differences are the brands and what not... awesome job though hope it goes to a good DSMer (real DSMer).

It has been forever since I have accessed this site. Glad to see everyone still so active.

Thought I might continue this thread a little more. Before everyone starts asking I did sell my DSM from PA a while ago.

I currently own a 2006 evo 9 now and although it only makes 349whp over the 508 my gsx made I have a completely different goal for this car. AUTO X
yep I have started to get away from drag and dive head first into the auto x game.

I also own my very own parts business now, and will be updating this thread in the coming months.

Just wanted to give you an update on Andrews old Gsx. I currently own the car and put a muffler on the car immediately the straight pipe was way too loud! (my neighbors hated me LOL)
But with school I don't have as much time to play with it so I'm thinking about selling it for the right price if anyones interested... Here are some recent photos of the car I took last week after a nice bath still in awesome condition :thumb:

Well it has been forever since I have visited this site. Glad to see it still going strong and the updates are great looking.

After I sold my GSX life really took over. I finished school, found a great job and bought a house. Still heavily involved in cars just its really slowed down this year. Shortly after selling the GSX I found a EVO 9 for a killer deal bought it from a young guy and fixed it up. I owned it for about 2.5 years before selling it to free up some funds. My G37 got rear ended parked on the street. It was totaled immediately so I bought a SRT8 Jeep. (best daily i have ever owned) The funny thing is, over all these years my GSX kept popping up with new owners reaching out to me about the history and wanting info. It's change hands about 3 times since I sold it. Last week I almost was able to buy it back. But last min I got outbid by an older gentlemen. The Owner at the time was really nice and was willing to do payments but it was more then I wanted to spend. Having a mortgage really plays apart in all my decisions now a days. Hurts the ego some. :thumb:

I was really bummed as all of the memories and nostalgia starting hitting me hard. I remember driving to Rhode Island to buy the shell. Spraying the engine bay in my grandmas garage, with all my friends. The countless trips to buy parts from people that I found on the classifieds. Or the first time seeing the car crack 500hp on the Dyno. I wish I could have bought it back. I got a chance to speak to the new owner. He seems like a great guy. We have an understanding that he will call me first if he wants to sell it. I'm glad its in good hands. Maybe one day it will be back in mine. Anyways, I know there are a bunch of great looking GSX's for sale out there and i could find another if i really wanted. Just something about having mine back weighs on my decision. I might give it a year or so and look around for something new and exciting. Vette Z06, Cobra Termi or a newer GTR.

I wanted to update you guys on the gsx. And i hope all is well.

Very small update.

I started looking around for another 2G GSX. I've seen a couple options, but nothing I am ready to jump on. GSX's are becoming harder and harder to find. I will most likely have a new one before august. As long as life doesn't get in the way.

If I get another one. I may continue the new build in this thread or start a new one.
