It's honestly one of my proudest achievements with the car. I'm definitely not a pro by any means but I'm confident when I get in there.I still applaud you for tearing into your trans and learning that sucker, congrats on the parts hoard

, my exhaust is only 3” so hopefully no clearance issues, congrats on the fix
It's definitely a nice piece! For sure check your EBrake cable mount and then I also had to chop off a decent amount of the exhaust heat shield under the car too but otherwise it fit great.Let’s go!! I finally got my HD driveshaft last week, haven’t even opened it yet, my exhaust is only 3” so hopefully no clearance issues, congrats on the fix

Yeah haha it's on there. Just the rear one. DSS deletes the first one.Stupid question but did you reinstall the carrier bearing?

.Guys remember when I said this?after the pull I heard some ticking and under normal driving / holding speed it sounded like it was misfiring a little bit. Gonna pull plugs and valve cover and check lifters sometime soon most likely.

Well let's hope it works out for meI bought that lifter removal tool and used it as well. It's a bi*** on a few of them, but most of them it's easy peasy.
That's wild though. Go Evo rockers while you're in there fixing/upgrading?

Right.. haha thank god I have a bag full of them. Already went through them and picked out a handful that feel good.Nevermind. $44.00 for a SINGLE rocker

I haven't heard of them failing all that often. I feel like there could be a number of things that caused it. Like valve float, lifter died (this one IS seized up now. The shoulder is ballooned out), or just general wear..But again, do these things fail often? What do you think caused it?
