So got the remote Killswitch mounted. Drilled small hole in the bumper and got the switch setup in a fairly inconspicuous spot I think. I feel like I really killed the switch location. I wish it was down about an inch but the mount didn't really let me put it there.

Drilled some holes in the rear to run the battery cables through but I think I'm actually going to switch over to some bulkheads. For some reason those seem safer back here and it'll actually make it easier to also connect my fuel pump wires to switched side of the power right in the bulkhead.

I put mine in the hatch keyhole and I was a little worried about getting hit from behind, but I figured it was low risk. I don't know why the location of yours makes me a little more worried. Guess it's not all that different.
It makes me worried as well honestly. I just don't see a better way or place to mount it. Unless I did one with a big rod like these and mounted it somewhere inside:

My worry is also I don't want to cut up any of the lights or center bar and with the whole rear end of this car basically being that, it definitely makes things challenging.

I do also have some lug covers on the way to cover all the lugs/posts that will be exposed. So there should be very very little chance of shorting or anything during normal operation.

Sorry do you mean firewall? I drilled a hole and got lucky on that one LOL, the alternator cable I drilled thru the engine harness LOL, I used a grommet on both, in the rear hatch from the battery I just fed them under the plastic panels and they run along under the passenger side piece that says eclipse.

I mean to the switch in the back

Well not much has happened since the last update. I did end up ordering some bulkheads to pass the power through the rear hatch wall or whatever you wanna call it. Was our of town for the 4th so didn't have a chance to do much in the car.

I do have a track day lined up and scheduled. August 8th and 9th. 8th is just a street legals, and the 9th I'm hoping is just a test and tune day.

I also ordered up some track bushings for my driveshaft carrier bearings.

The goal right now is to get the car ready for the track those days. Including getting the slipper clutch somewhat dialed in, maybe give it a few launches and see how the 60' goes.

Got back to work yesterday. I re drilled the holes larger for the new bulkheads. However I didn't take into account the width of the nuts that hold them on.. so I ended up having to redrill one of them down.

I'm not entirely happy with how these turned out but it seems good enough.

Still gotta add a fuse between the alternator and battery and then make the cable from battery to feed on the switch and then connect the ground again and we should be in business.

90+ Degrees out and ~95 in my garage and i still go to work.

Stuck the fuse between alternator and battery, then cable from battery to switch. Connected the ground "post" in my engine bay to the firewall and tightened that down.

Stuck the battery back in for a quick test and everything works exactly like i thought. All my normal power stuff is powered via the + post in the engine bay which includes the MPI relay stuff, ignition, starter, Etc. When the switch is off, nothing get power there and immediately shuts the car down and cuts power to the entire car.

Now some fun *sarcasm*; removing all the broken bolts in the rear crash beam and bumper cover. There were 2 that broke off on the driver side bumper cover and every. single. bolt. broke on the crash beam (underside) where the cover bolts to..

I had ordered some nice m6x1.0 fender washers for them to replace them all with.
I sprayed some penetrating oil on the broken side of the bolts and heated them from the opposite side and used vice grips slowly working them back and forth and got them all out. I did have to drill one out of the crash bar because I got a bit carried away and tried to just forced it to unscrew and snapped it off even shorter. managed to not really damage the threads, but still ran a new tap through.

Last night got the bumper, tail lights and rear trim battery box all back fully installed and looking pretty good! I almost forgot the license plate bracket though, which would have really sucked.

And last off another picture of me leaving cars and coffee a few weeks ago. Just recently found it on a FB post. Neat.

So I've started to prep to get things in motion to order up my PPG setup. Got some money moved around and I'm paying off the last bit of some old debt before plunging into this.

Other things that will be ordered either before or the same time:
WSS billet 1-2 shift fork
WSS chromoly shift rail end
Boostin billet bearing plate
KDN shift cut knob
AND if he had them done and available by then
WSS billet 3-4 shift fork

I got a decent deal on a fluidampr crank pulley from eBay Brand new $380 this morning so ordered that up.
