The 11.1 was done with the setup on my profile.

I have a new setup for 2011. Automagic, bw 72mm turbo, 2000cc injectors bla bla ..LOL

Hope to finish it by the end of march, if everything goes well but we all know... "it never does LOL"

ya let me know when you get that thing up and running. I will be here through April and will have some time on my hands to check it out at the track.
 
For you guys running slicks, do any of you run them with or without tubes? I know some brands say you have to but I wanted to see if I could get some input on this.
 
last year I ran with, this year Im running without, I will let you know the difference when Ive run.
 
Agreed Dave. Since my car is going through a very extensive build right now, my slicks just sit in the garage. After a week or two, they seem to be down to zero tire pressure since I don't have tubes in mine!

Thanks for the replies, I figured most ran without them. What do you guys think of bead locks or are they not neccesary? I am getting slicks soon for my fwd and just wanted to know before I get them.
 
Looks like i wont be going back to the track until i switch setups....

So far im going with HTA68/1000cc's/Punishment 02/3inch dp/etc. hoping to be deep into the 12's with slicks......
 
What kind of weight reduction have you done? Considering I went 13.8 with only 150lb of weight removal, slicks and stock everything else at 14.5psi, I don't see why that should be a problem. This was on a slipping stock clutch as well!
 
No tubes for me, and Im going to make a few passes without wheel screws to see if they spin or not. But i mounted up the mt 26x10x15s on a 15x10 wheel 5.5bs and they look great. Very minor triming needed so the wheels turn without rubbing.
Im hoping to get the car 100% back togeather for the IFO race in Gainesville, FL this weekend. So I should have some times and vids next week!! If your in the area come check it out and watch the fwd dsm spank some hondas again.

Nothing major front crashbeam (is going back on) rear seats and carpet cover nothing that will make a big diff. the rear seats dont weigh much at all......
 
My rear seats were right around 40lb for the both of them combined. The spare tire, rear seats, front passenger seat and panels in the trunk all added up to around 160lb for me. And all that can be removed in about 30-40min and installed in an hour or less for quick weight reduction just for the track outing.
 
I got excited for a moment, but i guess its a mod for the manual guys :(

Read post #6 he used all automatic parts. It can be automatic or manual. I know his posts are a little hard to follow. You use the AWD front differential in the F5M33 and the axle seals out of a 1991 Hyundai sonata v6 manual with the km177 trans.
