Going fast in a awd is easy, just like a street hooker... I guess we just loved a real challenge.

I'm not sure what to make of our timeslips. I'd like to know if I'm missing something here. I know the burnout sucked for 10.75, but it seems like there's more to it. Any ideas?

Hey guys I'm not anywhere close to some of you, but trying to lay down some better numbers this coming year. Any suggestions to my setup I would love to break low 13's to high 12's in 2011. I just picked up a spare gst for parts and going to use the 16's off it for some drag radials or slicks. Not sure which to get yet because I'm still running open diff. Also our track here sucks it's slick as hell which explains my horrible 60' time on my slip. I think I have a trap speed for mid to low 13's. So what would you all suggest open to opinions. Kk shootz
Are you guys wanting to go 13s on street tires? I ran a 14.8@93mph on street tires bone stock in my 90 Laser and 13.8@96 mph with 160lb of weight removal, slicks and a mbc with boost up to 14-15psi. With slicks, that super 16g should go low 13s all day and could break into the 12s depending on driver, fuel type and tune.
Good luck with all the goals for everyone in 2011!
Well as for the weather it's winter so that means lots of rain. But then again it's hawaii so its still pretty nice. And I forgot to mention that time slip was before I installed Ecmlink, 550's, and wideband. I was on stock tune and 450's and also my gizzmo msibc stopped working. So I had to rig up a crappy mbc and was only running 16 psi which is not the sweet spot of the super16g. As for the super I really love it it's not that laggy but just enough to help with fwd. When the boost kicks in is above 3500 and it's hits hard and stays solid till redline. I got a sick deal on it from a friend on island so I'm goin to stick with it for awhile. So with that said I know I'm no where near the full potential of my setup but with my upgrades I think I can hit my goal in 2011. Also a new gizzmo will be here soon for accurate boost control.
. In that case our setups and times were both nearly identical. I was running 14 psi on my pass. I'll be getting link and injectors in the next 2 months and then it's 13's or bust. this is an really interesting topic i just picked up a 90 gst and i am going to try and max she ol 14b out i also want to run low 13s or high 12s is this possible on a 14b or i will need a big turbo
Anybody been back to the track yet?
Im going to be heading to the track sometime this month right after I get tuned. I am going to be trying to run 25-28 psi on e85. Do you guys have any suggestions on launching or in the burnout box. I have a stage 2 tranny without an lsd according to the guy I bought it from. Also looking for your guys input I'm looking for some new tires? What would you guys suggest?
You looking for slicks or street tires?
