So here's an update for next season!
But I need some advice!

My tokico struts are finished in the rear, and I need to get her retuned.

So heres what I was thinking:
Tein ss all around with a new tune and maybe up the boost,(e316g)

And as for te traction portion what do you guys think about the bfgs in 225/45/17? Will these stick??

Those tires will be better than street tires, but they won't stick much still. If you plan on making any power you're gonna have to get a smaller rim. Mickey thompson makes a good 235/60/15 drag radial. You can always get a slick which would stick. Like a 26x9.5x16 sized slick or something close.

You sound like a true professional, What should i do about my setup?i want advice from the fastest fwd 2g in SOFL i only know what to do for 11.5s
 
I can't go lower than 17 inch rims with my 12.5 inch rotor and gsx caliper! As for the proxes, which ones do you have? The t1r or the proxes 4? I have experience with the t1r and they are honestly the stickiest tires I've used on my gst.

When I ran 13.3 this year what helped me the most was deflating my tires and lowering the boost to about 15psi, and then back up to 23psi cause I have a dual stage boost controller. Oh this was on street tires
 
Yeah I have the proxes 4. I plan on putting 18s on just don't know which tires might just get the proxes 4 since there cheaper
 
I have a 5 spoke rim in 17 inch and they look "bigger" than alot of 18s I've seen! Alot of people put 18s I wonder how the traction is with a low profile like that!
 
I welcome you to build a FWD on street tires pushing 220 WHP that is hitting 13.5's. Better yet, do it without an LSD. I would be thrilled to see it accomplished, but I am not going to hold my breath.
 
At 220 WHP? Obviously people who post here like to pick and choose their facts. Fact he said he ran a 13.5 on a 95 GST w/ street tires at 220 WHP on a 16G at 10 lbs w/ no LSD.

Btw, anyone running an fp green or s256 et on their fwd? I'm wondering what that's like cause I might upgrade from my 16g for one of those !
 
I am running the S258 and loving it. Only bad thing is it spools to fast i am getting 25psi by 3000rpm. I am switching to a BB T-61 turbo t3 to see if a laggy turbo will help the car be more street friendly.
 
Hmmm that's interesting your seeing the same psi at the same rpm range as my e316g and I'm betting it's more power! Howmuch are you putting down? Gas or e85? And are your internals forged?
And is that a Mitsubishi flange turbo.

I'm on the stock bottom end other than HG and studs. And honestly I don't think I'll be building them up any time soon cause I've spent enough money on this beast already. Plus let's face it it's a fwd street car with big brakes, I'm not running small enough wheels for slicks and I live in Montreal with messed up weather! Do street drags are out of the question also!


Would I be good with a non extended tip s256? What kinda power would I be seeing?
 
Is there even any reason to do that? Why not just run a built FWD trans? Seems it would just add more weight unless the gearing is better.
