Yeah. They stick on the top part of the window trim and allow you to keep the windows cracked during rain.

God, Belize Green is my favorite color for a 1GA. Too bad they’re unobtainium but a new clear Mitsu Center piece and clear corner lenses would just make it pop.
I have the center but it's yellowish. It's got some super ultra adhesive that's difficult for me to remove and I don't want to damage it while taking it apart. I'm trying to buff it out from within.

I'd purchase some clears immediately if they weren't 300$+ LOL (I'm not sure exactly on the price but when I do see them pop up for sale, it's an instant turn off, cause of price.)

I'm trying to head to japan later this year and I want to see if I can trade this to some enthusiasts for an evo or gallant LOL

There is something called "Retro-brighting" and I'm curious AF if you could do that with auto parts/lenses. People do it to make old yellowed consoled shine like bright white new again. It uses high concentration of slightly heated Hydrogen Peroxide surrounded by UV lights and its honestly like a miracle cure. For more than just white though.

Look up Odd Tinkering and Odd Experiments. It's a finnish guy who posted a walkthrough/parts list for his Retro-Brite setup, and you can watch a few of his videos (like the SNES restorations) to see it in action.

All that to say...I bet this would work on the center piece without the need of disassembling!

Replaced my door handle that I had to break to get into the car because I left it running and locked the door by accident 🥲 I still want to get another OEM eventually because fitment isn’t 100%

Traded my FNF Sparco wheel for this one plus $175. I have NOS horn buttons that I need to wire in. Threw on a 600g tear drop knob and a little hoody on the guy

I’m guessing the more expensive option there? I had this in my cart
Yeah this is the "name brand" version. I'll see how the cheap alternative holds up. I didn't want to spend $300 in heat shields and turbo blankets after buying a 800 O2 housing.

Took a look at someone on base's GST who has had idle problems for a while. Turns out the timing is off and they avoided damage. But I've been fighting the age old "it's half a tooth off at the crank/oil pump/balance shaft" even using the good old cam lock tool. 😅

So getting back in the saddle with a timing job.

Upstate right?

Ripped off the front knuckles in prep to press the old bearings out/new bearings in. Found something I need ya'lls advice on.

That's the most recent post in my build thread. Can you suspension/OGs/Experienced suspension guys read/watch the videos and comment in the build thread for me? Don't wanna clutter this thread up with a bunch of replies.

I have seen this on alot of sites with mustangs, hondas, volkswagen, ect... Although I've never seen one with DSM's and i thought maybe i would try it out and see if it sticks... I'll start off with what i did to mine. I cleaned up the motor bay and did a little wire tucking.
I stared at my spyder while I clenched my wallet because my balance shaft and wastegate valve went out right after I replaced my blown up manifold🧍‍♂️😭

I started the Blue 92 6/4 Auto just to keep the GASOLINE (not E) circulating. She fired right up! Joy 😊

Junkyard cf hood is on. It needs a reclear.

Thinking about having black paint mixed into some semi-gloss clear to bring it back to life.

Supposedly getting an old CF hood recleared is arduous. Everyone around me quoted me like $600-$800 because supposedly the gel coat has to be sanded down without harming the carbon then cleared on top.

I have no clue how true that is but as a result I’ve considered just getting the hood wrapped in some glossy CF instead. Or just rocking the faded look.

Wife gave me a present, a Greddy BOV like a month ago that she forgot to give me for Christmas after one of my friends who helped her pick it out asked her how i liked it since he never heard anything back.

Ive been having a problem with rising RPMs in the 2-3 and up shifts since May of last year.

Installing the new bov inadvertantly solved that problem. The old Greddy I had must have been sticking shut and causing a surge.

This was me going around the neighborhood earlier today driving a problem free car 🥹😌🥳

I replaced a cracked and faded CF hood with a new one when I had the whole car stripped and re-painted. The body shop was a little surprised when I asked them to paint the NEW CF hood same as the rest of the car. I was over the patch work body panel "look" and wanted it to have the weight savings and strength of CF with the look of the factory finish. Also - if you do ever need to cut a vent or make modifications, CF is fairly easy, and a painted hood won't yellow in time.

Consider having it painted.

There is no need to sand the gel coat off. Fiberglass hoods have gelcoat too. No one is removing the gel coat to paint/clear them.
My cousin recleared his cf hood. Just a basic sanding to give the clear some adhesion and all was well.

Sounds like BS to make the price crazy. I have a friend that paints that is going to take care of it for me along with my 2gb bumpers and fender
