I gotta remove turbo AGAIN to fix the same compressor
Leak that "right stuff" didn't cover. Bummer. On the bright side I'm freshening up the oil drain with new AN fittings.

I'm going stage 3. I figure if I ever go bigger I'd have the tranny to back it up.

I always thought the early Genesis' were a detuned 4B11T, it wouldn't surprise me anymore if they have their own 2.0T in there now.
 
Yep, just another turbo 2.0 that makes what a stock 4g does. :p
 
How much extra power can be made from that engine stock? Like a 4G63 can make an extra ~75 HP pretty easily.

I thought it was because thats what I had heard, and its not the first time there's been a Mitsu engine in a Hyundai.

I found all the parts to convert my 2Ga Talon to a 2Gb Talon (rims, bumpers, side stakes) and also the OEM 17s (think I might polish them). Also got a bunch of interior pieces I needed and an HKS Hiper exhaust to replace my junky Megan one.
 
Nice, what's the situation with your water pipe?
My water pipe still goes from the bottom of the t-stat housing to the water pump. I suppose you maybe confusing the 6-bolt water pipe with the 7-bolt? The lower radiator hose goes to the t-stat on a 7-bolt, the lower radiator hose goes to the water pipe on a 6-bolt if I remember correctly.

Or was it something else, guess I don't follow? :idontknow:

Stopped by the stealership to get some prices on gaskets and whatnot. They had the diagram for a 1g turbo assembly up so I asked out of curiosity what they wanted for the turbo. $1600. I laughed and the guy at the counter laughed. Good times at the stealership.....
