installed the megan coilovers and adjustable upper control arms in the rear today. took about 1 hour to measure and adjust everything and get them all installed.

I looked at it, and locked it. Went inside, turned around looked through my doors window at it for about 2 minutes, became depressed, went to google, typed in F***'D up porn, just watched the videos....

Just Watched....

After a complete rebuild (Ross + Scat H beams), and going through one head (valve dropped during oil priming), I successfully broke in the new engine today. I couldn't be happier.

Chris your car looks amazing, keep updating us.

Congrats! It's a great feeling after you've made it past the first oil change!

Plan is to have the car on the dyno in the next two weeks for some low boost testing.

Currently making the nose mask and ducting for the intercooler/radiator:

Going to be painted black to match the bezel around the exhaust on the hood and the diffusers in the rear bumper!

Still deciding on how much to take off the bottom for clearance.

Looking good!

Here's how I left mine yesterday. The net is on it to hold the cover on, there's some crazy wind out there.

Just wanted to ask if this treat direction is correct. The people that mounted my tires on the rim put the tires that say left on te right side of the rim. Idiots....

The car is at stock ride height at the moment, and there is still a full 5" of ground clearance under the lip. This is about the lowest it will sit in street trim, and likely not too much lower when it makes it out to bonneville as the car will sink into the salt some as well.

I am thinking about running a full belly pan with skirts, or at the very least a louvered tray under the engine bay.

The wheels on the car right now are the wrong offset, and stick out like monster truck tires. Which is fine for street duty I suppose, but when the drag and LSR wheel/tire combos are ordered I have two adjustable slides to tuck the lower rear wheel arch behind the wheel in to keep air out from under the cover.

Additionally I have two diffusers in the cover to aid in reducing pressure under the back of the car, and plans for a cowl cover to smooth the transition from the hood to the windshield. Front and rear wipers are gone, as is the antenna, and the holes are plugged.

Finally put my Talon all together after all the weight reduction. Feels great to be driving it on the street again after all this time.

I got my freshly rebuilt evo 3 16g installed, fresh syntec oil, coolant system flush, just waiting for some rtv to set to see if my boost problem is resolved.:hellyeah:

Update: :D Removed my down pipe to see if my exhaust was clogged and causing my turbo to produce no boost. What do you know it is! Car was pulling strong and I was smiling the whole time. LOL Here's a pic of where I stopped on my drive.

Took car to get an alignment.... I hate it when someone else drives off with my eclipse. I HATE IT!!!!!! I dont trust anyone with it.

I hear ya...every time I've taken mine for alignment or something like that they take it out to "double-check" this or that....I'm sure it's totally professional....right??!! :hmm:

I'm not gonna let tem double check shit! No one has ever had to double check anything after a laser alignment! The graph says everything they need to know!

I'm going to the track sunday and i just gave these alignment guys a freshly tuned link estimated 575hp dsm on 30psi :headbang:
