Finally got the motor buttoned up yesterday, went to start it and my 6an fuel rail adapter was shooting out fuel. Tried to tighten the adapter to the rail tighter and broke the bolt off into the rail :( luckily I have a few extra so ill switch it out today and try again.

Very cool. I've got a couple weeks to get through first, but after that its on. My car is not setup for the "short courses" but I plan to get my testing in there. Won't "hook and book" by any means, but when she's sorted should put up some serious trap speeds.

There's plans for slicks and a proper clutch in the future, but no till after the half-mile shootout in june.

Ahhh i hate that!!!! Makes the pads smoke! Time to lube up the sliders with high temp grease and put new boots on!

I got my dsm back in one piece plus got a welding job offer to make a trailer out of a GM truck frame hahah. Turns out guy didn't drive it for 20 mins after all.

Actually did this the other day. And it's not really a Dsm. Well it's 4g powered so that counts right?

Anyways. I got the gauge panel fitted and in place. Now I need to wrap it (probably suede). Then she'll be ready for gauges.

Got the four puck installed and the trans back in, followed up by re-connecting the ic pipes, intake, wiring etc. Friday should be able to bolt the suspension/axles in, fill the fluids and throw the battery in to start it back up after the long winter nap!

Figured out where some wires go for my fuse box and pulled the vacuum fittings out of my Q45 tb, need to tap them and insert some plugs to block them off. I need to break the torch out to pop the FIAV fittings out so I can drill and tap those.

If you truely don't know what it means, it makes me happy. YOLO is the dumbest freaking thing evAr!

Agreed.

Might run another coat over it to make it darker, but I like the way this turned out:

I'm thinking about it for saving weight, and a totally different look. Not too crazy about carbon fiber anyway. Thinking that, and fabbing an al wing and fuel cell and the sheet over the stock tank too. We will see...

So I can run the correct hose size to the Q45 TB. Either the DSM or the Q45 (I forget which) uses bigger hoses then the other.

Your such a hater bro.Theres two cool people from cananda and you just took one out of the equasion..

YOLO all day up in this bit**

So what did i do.I went around the block and had to come home.Theres a caliper sticking:( .banghead: Should be rebuilt today..By monday for sure.

Dropped and drained the gas tank. Cleaned it out the best I could. So I would have just straight Q16 in the tank. Put a new fuel strainer on the 3000 VR4 fuel pump. Mounted the ECU. Cleaned up the loose wires in the cockpit. Relocated/mounted my shift light. Now just need to dial in the MAF-T. Test & Tune here I come.

Bought an engine off of craigslist, tore mine out and put it in. Started right up and had a leaky headgasket? By the filler neck......... Tore the head off and awaiting parts for tomorrow. Aaah I haven't driven this car in two weeks I'm dieing
