Redid kinked boost gauge line. Readjusted the way the innovate and boost gauge sits on the cluster. Redid the squeaky brakes. Wipe down car of dust. PGS the headlights. Cleaned the inside of the car.

Made some pretty under the hood.

Doin some lines! ROFL
Looks good.

I did some lines yesterday too, unfortunately -20AN isn't as forgiving if the length measurements aren't 100% perfect. I ended up being about 1/4" too long (better than too short I suppose) on both my radiator inlet and outlet so I've got to pull the hose ends back out, cut, then install them all over again.

Working with -20AN is no fun and it's almost impossible not to damage a little bit of the anodizing on them even using the right tools, I don't recommend them to anyone. :coy:

We started with the plan of using -20s but that right there is why I made the call on going -16.

The price break helps too. How close the rad is to the block makes it an even bigger pain in the ass.

Dread having to remove the lower hose more than a couple times a year..

Just installed a hahn fmic now working on cutting the bumper

^Thats funny you mentioned that..There was a guy doing a huge semi fmic on his 2g.I'll see if I can't dig that up for ya.

rhinop21 or something like that. He installed and cut up a semi's intercooler on his non-turbo 420a. Just so people would think it's turbo.

My cars runs YAY.Sounds absolutly beastly with open 02.

Switched it back to the stock fpr.Till my nylon line gets here.

I also scared the shit out of some kids at subway with my 2 step.LMFAO

Any particular reason to not just stick with normal hose? Or at least mishimoto silicone hose? It just seems like a big PITA to me.
My decision to go 20AN seemed like a no brainer because the I.D. of the 20AN matched the I.D. of the t-stat housing inlet/outlet and the AFCO I bought had 20AN bungs already welded on it, basically it made sense but I hadn't shopped around to see how pricey it was. Spending $65 for two straight hose-ends and $90 for two 45* hose-ends is not something I had planned on doing.

My reasoning to convert to hydraulic line and AN fittings is that I was getting tired of those rubber/silicone hoses splitting on me every year, leaving me stranded for a bit until I could let it cool and "fix it" enough to get me home. It's not a bad idea to convert to AN lines, however, I recommend going to 16AN size like Chris said to save some coin to spend elsewhere...

Jeeebus, what kind of turbo are you running? One from a freightliner? Thats a big f'n ic LOL

The HRC FMIC APPEARS bigger than it really is because the bottom of the core acts as a pipe as the air travels back to the passenger side of the car. That FMIC core is actually smaller than the VRSF and PR front mounts and it costs twice as much, it just doesn't look like it. I ran a HRC IC kit for a few years and found one of the welds inside the core was leaking, I trashed it for my VRSF and can honestly say I like the VRSF kit a lot better.

Not knocking the HRC kit, it's great for a 100% bolt-on and go IC setup but for the price of it new you could be knocking down the door of a GREAT ETS kit that's second to none.

I put a cd player in the new 90 laser rs-t fwd. I also bought a new alternator belt to replace the old dried out old one. Tomorrow I'll put that on.

I'm loving having a running DSM once more. I also never had a fwd DSM out of the 7-8 I've owned. It's a blast especially in snow and rain LOL.

I saw your post in that 1g wire tuck build thread. Don't plan on having a running DSM for at least a month tucking the harness like that, it's no easy task! I bought a spare harness to tuck so I could continue to drive my DSM and it still takes FOREVER if you want to do it right.
