No joke..Ours say dohc or 16 valve on the top of the vc..The jdm ones have mitsubishi on the top.

Baller, yeah I know..:hellyeah:

But they were not made in japan....dsms are domestic built and exported...all of them. It would have been made for a car exported to japan. Not technically "jdm"

Did I say domestic dsm VC..No I said jdm VC..Ever heard of a 4g63 in japan..

Think next time pal.

Jim Pm me with your list.

Step 1: Unhook the fuel feed line from the fuel rail and stick the end into a long funnel leading to a clean drain pan.

Step 2: Turn the fuel pump on via Link and drain the E-85 into the pan.

Step 3: Re-install fuel line to rail, pour e-85 out of pan into 5 gallon fuel can, pour 5 gallons of 93 octane into the talon's tank.

Step 4: Change fuel trims via Link, start up the car and go for a nice 1 hr. drive to ensure any/all goo from the ethanol is cleaned out.

Step 5: Park the car in storage for the winter and remove insurance coverage...shed a little tear

looked out my window and she (dsm) waved at me. Then my little one pulled at my leg and wanted to play......maybe another day (dsm) :,( LOL

4gwa? Idunno what that is. Lol jk bro. Is it the rvr vc?

No not rvr..ROFL..Ohh Thats a good laugh.

Jdm 4g63..So lets say galant, evo 1/2/3.

I had the cyclone manifold..But I sold it..And am now kicking myself..Cause I have not seen another cyclone like that since.

So I only have two valve covers left, and the evo oil cap..No cyclone:(

So if the dude I sold that cyclone to sees this..I'll buy him a different cyclone, and trade for that one +.

The RVR came with the same engine that the Evo III did Bud, my "Evo III intake manifold" was actually off of an RVR. How about you keep this to the "What did you do to your DSM today?" thread because, if I'm reading through the lines of your posts, they could be considered classified ads out on the forum? :hmm:

100$ for a valve cover..I've got an extra jdm one with the red paint and pactory l vac fitting..Thats gotta fetch at least 2 right.
Yeah i know, I only had the damn thing posted for like 2 hours and he bought it up:

DSM Mitsubishi Eclipse Eagle Talon 1G 2G Powdercoated Valve Cover Shaved Letters | eBay

Should have set the price higher in retrospect.....but that would have only made my disappointment that much more acute when it crumbled. It was the craziest shit I have ever seen, I still dont know what happened, I should pick up the shavings and show you guys. That hole literally broke into about 15 little pieces, it basically dissolved. Never seen aluminum do that before. It was a glorious geyser of shavings worthy of zeus.

I saw that valve cover post and I've gotta say wow. It must have been fatigued as hell to crumble on you.

And today I drove my car hard and realized my TPS plug backed itself out enough the other day to mimic fuel cut. Scared the shiz out of me. But it's all good now.

Also found out a local DSMer lost his in a electrical fire. I think it drove past mine o many times and decided to kill itself.

This is sort of a "What *will* I do to my DSM today?":

I'm trying to decide whether I want to grab some temporary insurance (vehicle not safetied yet) to put some break-in mileage on it over the long weekend, even though it's pissing snow outside right now and will be rainy during the weekend.

Good progress! BLT's suck but the results are worth it. Are you keeping it now?

Sadly. I'm just doing it because I enjoy driving it. And wow it made a huge.. difference when blt is done. But I need the cash for weeding so unless I can pay it all I need to sell it. But been getting silly offers like 1200 bucks LOL. Never I will keep it if it don't sell soon
