no its a 95 gst i just got it a few weeks ago and i havent changed my car thing yet sorry ill do it now

ok now i am really lost

now i see that some people just run the vacuum line from the housing to the waste gate and then i here people have turbo controlers and turbo timers

what do i need to do or get and what is the diff?

On an original setup, a vacuum line will connect the wastegate, the compressor housing, the boost control solenoid (the OEM method of measuring/controlling boost pressures), and likely some other lines.

Technically, you don't need any of it. But if you are looking to have a bit of fun, you can certainly look into a manual boost controller (your turbo controller). Everyone here knows that if you decide to install such a controller, you better install an aftermarket boost gauge as well since the original unit is not accurate at all for translating boost pressures. Steer clear of turbo timers; they are not necessary at all.

Before purchasing a manual boost controller, I suggest doing some reading to understand what is involved with boost control:
