it was alright made one run and got rained out and I was making a few adjustments while driving and someone how put 50+ overall global on mafcomp and was flood it during that run and had found a broke wire to to o2 sensor (found that today) so I'm good now lol. unfortunately it was wet and even in third on way back on the highway I was having hookup issues lol so was my brother.

Yeah I wanted to go last time but couldn't but really wanna go this time. hopefully with my evo 8 kit on lol

its on the bottom side of it covered in silicone. Its just a backyard mod not necessary with link unless your running out of mas. like say your pushing around 55lbs/min and its starting to freak reading too many hertz. You could screw it out to stretch its use. You could also remove the honey combs on the sides and bottom to stretch it even further. as long as you dont mess with the middle one. The MAS needs it to read airflow properly.

I'm thinking aboutSD but right now I have other areas needing money lol

there is a screw on the mass air flow sensor that you can back out to make it read less air. I was using it to be able to run higher boost. It helps lean things out up top some. Read about 27lbs/min instead of reading 31-32 up top. Also I had to change the position of the trigger plate for it to read correctly to use the evo 8 cams I had bought. I just recently got link to. looking for a lc-1 wb gauge now. have some other things i wanna do soon too. FMIC, evo 8 kit, finish paying for coilovers

You have a 1g or 2g n/t? Personally, you'd be better off buying an awd unless it's a 2g. Its a LOT of work. Also unless your planninng on making huge power, just buy a quaife and a set of dr's for the front and call it a day. Less work and better results.

No, I don't. I'm considering doing a rear one but probably not a front.

Nah, skip it. The head is weaker. I had to trash mine because the area under one of the head studs started to crush. It would only hold 60ft-lbs of torque and it started pushing coolant.

The 1.6 DOHC head is from a the Colt/Mirage from early 1990's. There was also a Hyundai that had a DOHC 1.8 head that also works. Just browse the junkyards for any small Mitsu or Hyundai that has the same valvecover as a DSM. They're hard to find, good luck!
