so johneclipse came over to help me out with the car and we found out that the turbo was toast, so i got another stock turbo, put it on start it up and it seems like it idles a little bit better but drives the same, now when i get it on the road and give it gas if im goin uphill it wont make it over 2k rpm goin about 5 mph LOL then downhill somewhat seems to show whats goin on, went up to about 3k rpm in first gear then let off, then got back on it and you can feel the boost kickin in and takes it to bout 4500 rpm then its like it dies, you can keep it floored doing that and once it hits 4500 it seems like mabe the wastegate opens and stays open til u let off again, when it does that it drops back down to 2500-3k rpm, anyone ever heard of somethin like that? i have no idea how much boost its getting because we all know the stock boost gauge lies! thanks ahead!
also, i checked the timing, its right, checked to see if the plugs were all firing and they are, not sure exactly how the firing order is but isnt it 1 and 4 at the same time and 2 and 3 the same time?

ill do that, but even if it had a huge leak wouldnt it at least run as if it wasnt turbo or near it?

no trouble codes?

Double check you have the correct coils connected to the correct cylinders (spark plug wires installed correctly)

I would start trading out sensors for known good ones as well as the ECU. Also make sure there is no bad wiring (bad grounds, stripped wires, bad connections)

Good luck!

Do a boost leak and try to bend the pipe couplers (HARD), some times when boosting, pipe comes out and drain all the air, that's when you loos all the power,.,., But, because of the pipe comes back to the same place, it pushes back in to the coupler by it self, making a light seal, but when boosting again it will do the same thing.
I know is wear, But it happened to me, I did a leak test, but, nothing came out, until I moved all the hard pipes (hard) and one came out, I had to bed it so it doesn't come out again.
Hopefully is a lose hard pipe.

^^ ROFL

I have almost no idea what you're tryin to say, check your grammar please! and re read before you submit. I would like to understand what you're tryin to say. Could be useful and beneficial for me someday.

But to the OP get an aftermarket boost gauge then go from there, you NEED one anyways.

Sorry about my grammar, I will do my best.

Check your intercooler pipes, there might be one off.

My car used to do almost the same.
When I rev it high, it looses power, But it worked good on low rpm, and it didn't have any power at all when going up hill, I did a boost leak and found nothing at all, all the pipes and couplers looked good,
But when I start moving and shaking all the hard pipes, one came out from the coupler,
I don't know why it didn't pop out when I did the boost leak, I did 18psi and didn't came off.

(It could happen)..
