Ok the past couple days i have been looking through the paper work for my car and have found some really odd things. First off i did one of those carfax things, and it says the engine for my 1993 eagle talon tsi is a 3.5L SOHC 24v V6 when i have a 2.0L DOHC 16v I4 im going to buy the whole report soon. I thought that was really weird any body have any idea what happened there. We bought the car in 1996 so it was used for 3 years before we got it. Now im not sure about the turbo either, i went to this website http://cherrypicker.tripod.com/id1.html and saw that the stock turbo is different then mine. I was wondering if any one knew how to find out exactly what turbo i have. It says TD05H on the side of mine. But shouldnt i have a stock one??? And on that website it shows two TD05H's so how would i know if it is the 16G or the 18G??? Anything would be much appreciated THANKS! :talon:

if the housing is a TDO5H it is prolly a 14b which is a stock turbo for the 1st gen. You could of course look at the wheel by taking off the intake hose. If it is a single blade its prolly a 14b .. if its a double blade it could be a 16g.

oh, and a v6 was never an option.. something is messed up

Ya i know that the engine i mentioned was not avail. Its really weird im gonna buy the full carfax report to see whats up with that. Cause there never was a 3.5l v6 sohc LOL i was just wondering if anybody knew how that could have got mixed up. thanks for the help on the turbo though :thumb:
