While I wait for my Eclipse to board ship and set sail to me (currently waiting at the port in Florida), I have been busy collecting parts for my other money pit! 1994 Ford Escort Cosworth: (seen here at the European equivalent of Sema)

Plan is to do a full underbody overhaul during the winter. New suspension, steering parts, brake lines.... maybe a big brake set up... see how the car budget goes.

GORGEOUS.

I still think they should have stuck with the third winglet right in the middle. It already looks bonkers, what was a "little" extra cost at that point LOL

Thanks buddy. I had to do a double take there as the Eclipse iv'e just bought is almost exactly the same as your Talon!

As the saying, "If i had a dollar for every time...." There is a huge debate here in the UK on the question of weather the third wing was ever an officially designed component. But then again, there are so many myths and know it all's on these cars over here I tend to just ignore all of it and concentrate on driving it.

Man I love Cosworths. Major regret not getting one 15 years ago.

My Neon is almost done, but I’m somehow not in a rush to get it fully completed before the snow flies. Just needs brake master cylinder, fixing some broken bolts, exhaust fab for the header, alignment, fixing a stripped door hinge bolt thread, and final details.

Next year project - it needs rust repair and a respray, and the engine needs another overhaul for some piston slap (still on stock bore at 250,000+ km).

And the juggernaut, might build the engine for this one this winter. It’s not as bad as it looks.

I wish we had those here.
I believe now they are 25+ years old they are eligible to be imported into the US so you may start seeing a few more of them out there. A few have cropped on the Escort Cosworth Facebook page...

Made some more progress on the client's car.

The old school WG was hitting the radiator, so I replaced it with a new Summit v-band 44mm, MUCH more clearance.

The MAP sensor was also installed at the end of about 3' of vac line down on the frame rail, T'd off from another line. Moved it much closer, with it's own source.

2023 Acura Integra manual came in with a 4k rpm dash rattle. Ended up being the heater core pipes touching each other inside the heater box.

Performed some very fine calculations and cutting today. Pine trees needed to come down. I figured that they weren't tall enough to damage anything, so I cut one of them towards 3 cars and a workshop. Missed by 10 feet or so. My heart rate raised a little as I watched it fall but I knew before hand that I should be in the clear. Better to drop them myself than to wait for a storm to throw them down unpredictably. Last time that happened I had one car totalled and another with fair damage, in this picture by the way. If the car had a brain it would have shit itself and run away. Wine to finish a day of hard work. Clean up was fun. Steel cables and a Dodge Dakota to drag heavy logs around.

So something pretty cool I think, a little out of the norm for us. I’m currently building a gym in St. Pete for Mr. O himself, Derek Lundsford. He really wanted to be able to work out in the new gym before this year’s competition that is now only a week away. Even though the gym is a ways out for completion we did everything we could to get his equipment in there so he could use the facility beforehand.

I just finished putting a body lift in this sport trac I recently got from my dad. It was not easy at all, the body mount bolts go through the top so the interior had to come out.

Love it. I keep wanting to replace my RTi A9s and CSiA6 just because I wouldn't mind someone with less impedance but specifically had higher sensitivity, but the $ always finds a different home.

I did find some new art for my HT instead, it was cheaper LOL

Prior setup.

It went through a few iterations between the two pictures and again when we got back to this house last November. The biggest change being a 77" Sony OLED to replace the 65" Plasma.

The wife prefers the old Polk RTA-11TL/Monitor 5Jr+ as a center/Monitor 5 surrounds over the Emotiva setup so those are going and I have her auditioning the SVS Prime Towers/Center/Satellites from the Boulder home to see if those are moving on too.

Polk's warmer stage is quite appealing, which doesn't make it any easier for us to replace. I got the A9s from future shop (Canada's best buy before bb bought them out and closed all stores) on boxing day sale, 750cad for the pair back ... 2017? Ran to them first thing on opening and had the wife sit on a pair of boxes until I could arrange moving them to the checkout.

Much like you, Sony as well, but miniled. I'm still too chicken to go OLED LOL

A local has a 2jz in a s14 and spent the last 3 years switching everything like ecu and wiring. I was only there for a base map and ended up helping him with a bunch of wiring issues. Finally got the car running but i need to contact the wiring manufacture since i don't want to use a generic dpo for the fuel pump on haltech.

That's cool. For drifting?

I thought it was was originally when we first met. But it's just a fun street car. He was a old mk3 guy who fell in love with how the s14 chassis handles. He's only looking for 4-500 pump gas.
Before I helped my customer a little bit with some ideas and the parts when he built his 2JZ S14 Silvia with twin compound turbo setup. That was an eye-catcher drifting car.
