Maybe they call me "pops" for another reason than being old ROFL
I got good news on the crank. It is still in tolerance. I drove to a machine shop to talk about it and they pulled out this super cool digital micrometer and my crank is ready to rock so I ordered bearings and pistons but can't afford the rods yet. Wo is me....:)

Just finished painting the walls in the interior garage and knocking down some old shelves. Last paint job was in 2003. A light color was not a good idea. Last things to do are install new trim and epoxy coat the floor.

These damn new style faucets don't flow worth a rat's piss, so from now on I'm just swapping a new valve into the old body.

Ran to my neighbors house with my ELEMENT fire extinguisher after it was hit by lightning and on fire. Luckily they got it out before I retrieved mine. Like 20 mins ago. Crazy.
It was the flagpole that did them in…

I finally got around to putting a new head gasket in the 79 Chevy Luv, the quick and dirty way. Now it runs great, even better than when i bought it, especially cause i found there were only 7 of the 8 nuts holding the intake manifold on. Maybe one day it will have the engine, transmission, and diffs out of my 1g parts car, for a fun awd mini truck, but I gotta get a welder first, and maybe a garage.

Audi A8L in for the works.(normal)
Breather, heater pipe, crossover pipe, valve cover gaskets, waterpump, and misc stuff.
Maserati Ghibli in for service and inop ac.
98 Tacoma 2.7 in for engine noise.
Timing chain guides were worn and balance shaft tensioner wasn’t tensioning. It just takes 5-6 hours to get to it to check anything.

Since the car is down and I need a break, I decided to fix this thing.
It got backed into at a parts store parkinglot a week after my new shortblock shit the bed.

'78 CB750k
Big diet (150lb stripped off)
Bigger cam
Opened up intake and exhaust
Rejet
Geared up rear sprocket

Needs a dual brake setup up front, but screams real good.

Nice job, man.

Wow, 150 lbs stripped off is insane!

Getting over my second sinus infection this year. I've had them twice yearly for a while now. Maybe I should give up and go in for the sinus cavity surgery that they've been suggesting now.

Raptor Bedlined my rear plastics on the Subi because they were all faded, painted and missing badges. Now all I have to do is the rest 🤦🏻‍♂️. Front bumper is a pain and the sides are double sided taped. I’d just tape the sides but after using it the overspray might be a pain to stop.

Fixed two back to back weekends worth of door scratches on our daily/kid hauler courtesy of the lovely shoppers at the grocery store who DGAF about swinging their doors into someone else’s car. On the bright side I get to work on my paint correction

Working on a clients car, beautiful 97 Tsi AWD. Found some major boost leaks, setting up EBC, some wiring and vac line clean up and a nice street tune.

Local dealership we deal with brought this XC60 in. They wrongly informed me that this one had 0 compression on a cylinder. Ran on all so he told me to drive it. It was decent until I tried to hit boost. Instantly knew what it needed. It’s getting a ton of parts. Stopleak in coolant system so reservoir, radiator and flush. Turbo 😂 clearly. Sheared the shaft and literally jangled in there because the shaft broke. Engine because there was 3-4 quarts in the charge piping all glittery with material. Life’s rough when you don’t take care of your stuff.
