You can't tell but my Slave Syl is also Red with a polished Shaft.

On my new setup, when I build my race motor I'm going to do the block in Cast Iron, The trans in flat black, the Turbo Manifold and the Intake Manifold flat black. The Valve Cover is going to be painted with a flat black base coat, CrystalFX from Alsa Corp and Dark Blue Navy Candy Clear from Also Corp to match the car's paint job. Blower Housing will be polished, Exhaust housing will have a nice Pot Shield. The entire engine bay is going to be flat black.

I notice you got the JDM valve cover but don't have the crankcase fitting on the side that is l shaped... Where did you get a replacement? Mine is bent/does not fit in tight. It fits in very loosely and not even snug.

Not the greatest pic but here is a shaved cover done in mirror red.

I opted to go with TRG Coatings after reading great reviews and all I have to say is that this thing is a "work of art".

Mirror Red.........

Here is my candy red powder coated valve cover. Done by Sumax (they did most, if not all, of Orange County Choppers powder coating)

^ Yup Kristen did the first VC that's the blue one I have shaved and posted a few pages back, this one is powder coated and just got yesterday. I don't know which to run now. I need the BOV redone since I scratched it all up. I have more parts going out for coating but hopefully I will have my motor back but my boy will be here next Wednesday so we are gonna tear it up.
