Can anyone tell me how to disconnect the block from the tranny? i cant pull the axles or move the tranny so the only option is pulling the block from the top

i just removed all of the bolts and pryed it. Simple.
Just the transmision to block bolts? the car is an automatic i dont know if theres more too it.

Why cant you pull the axles?
I cant get the nut off i already broke 3 breaker bars trying too

Yeah there should only be 4 bolts holding the tranny to the block. Remove them and pull the block out. Good luck

I've never seen someone remove an axle nut on any vehicle without the assistance of a heavy duty impact gun.

My father and I needed to take one off of a sentra (no impact gun)...never trying again without one, but we got it

in all honesty. its just easier to pull the whole damn thing out. trying to line the motor back together in the car is just a pain in the arse

if im incorrect please fix me but it you use a punch and a hammer you can put the punch on the axle nut and hammer little by little, works for me since its a castle nut

I use a breaker bar, pb blaster, and the cars power to break them loose.

I say keep trying on the axles. I took on off with a breaker bar and a heavy mallet.( this was before i had and air compressor and air tools) but if all else fails just pull the block. It really isnt that hard.

Yea if you take the lower control arm off and maybe the sway bar, you might be able to pull the knuckle far enough out to pull the axle out of the trans.. Then you can take the mounts off and maneuver it around to clear your clutch..
^ This.

Most of the times I removed DSM trannies I've left the axles in the hubs and just popped the upper control arm (2G) or removed the two lower strut bolts (1G).

I use a 3/4" ratchet that is 1.5ft long, and 2 ~ 3ft of additional pipe to break axle nuts free. That and some heat...I'm not weak but I'm also a small person, it's called leverage. You will need someone on the breaks too if possible.

Another curiosity - perhaps the clutch disc is seized on the input shaft? Just another possibility...

Ill keep trying and see what i can do and the transfer case is already off but does the transmission being automatic change the way to pull it?

You can pull it up or drop it, then you can probably see where whatever is connected is snagging it. I had the same problem pulling my auto six bolt but it turned out to be some bolts by the ac.
