we went out sunday night in the truck playing around. fiance wanted to see how the truck did in the snow since shes been driving it because her car sucks in it (2012 hyundai genesis coupe 2.0t).

Little update:

got the dash pulled out of the car

was gonna have a buddy of mine take the car up tomorrow but he had a little accident so now I’m trying to scramble to get the trailer brake controller and the 7 way plug on my truck...

Did a little extra to bolt the plug in with some nutserts

hoping to still have time to get it all ready so I can make it up tomorrow. Running out of time because I have plans with my parents this after noon.

exact video I used only thing I did was drop the column it made things super easy to pull that way

well small update ish.

truck is finally ready to tow with. had some dumb small issues with it getting it ready. factory 4 flat plug had some points broken inside not making a connection so i had to swap that plug out. also had to run the trailer brake wire since the truck never came with a factory 7 way.

on a sad note i might be looking for another shop to do my cage.

so ive been searching around looking at wheels to get when i decide to put 15s and slicks. i think i finally found the ones im going to go with.

gram lights 57dr 15x8 35mm offset in mag blue. not going to be ordered anytime soon so it may change still but as of now these are what i have my eye on. off the wall color for a red car but ive seen a similar combo and it looks very good.

car is packed and loaded up. Taking it down to drop off to get the cage put in.

Also picked up a parachute from him for the car as well. As he sends me pics of progress I’ll Share with you all.

main hoop is tacked in

next is starting on fitting the rear bars.

eric is the man yea its a pre bent cage but honestly had i known then what i do now i wouldve just had one bent up for the car by him instead of a prebent unit. i will still be able to put the back seats back in there so itll be able to do some street car classes.
