I will be Posting Pictures very soon and will be updating project on a normal basis. currently are in the process of removing the 6 bolt out of the car to put in the almost finished built 6 bolt. I'm looking to have the car finished by the end of february and will be running the car at the 18th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout At Buschur racing also plan on putting the car on the Dyno. Wish me luck and any input will be helpful.

So last night I got my NON LSD rear end out and started to put my LSD one in. I also got a killer deal on a practically brand new AEM TRU Boost for 125 :) ....

Thanks man I love reading everyone's response on the build.. it keeps me motivated to keep emptying the bank avccount for this car :( ..... And yes I am running the Dsm Graveyard rear LSD racing axles that support up to 800awhp :)... as far as drive shaft it is something i will ###### look into down the road after the car is running for a month or two. My best freind works at a driveshaft shop that builds high performance driveshafts for racing trucks and i have been talking to him and i think he is going to make something. and as far as brakes I will ###### just keep my plans of brembo drilled and slotted rotors with hawk pads then upgrade to like a bear big brake kit ... but hey man thanks for following along I cant wait to get this motor in hopefully next weekend... wish me luck
 
My buddy Bender just got some one piece drive shafts made. atdsm.com He has pics and more info on them there.
 
you seem to be making good progress on the build so far. looks like were doing a similar turbo setup as far as holsets are concerned. im also shooting for 600awhp for this summer. cant wait for you to get my block finished with some pics. you should keep me updated on your cage. if it works well for ya maybe we can work something out and get my 2g caged at your shop. ill bring the beer this time. we should for sure run together at the shoot out, seeing that ill be sportin the graveyard banner on my car.

600whp on 6bolt rods is just asking for a hole in the block... not to mention for a DD ROFL

IM not going to be running the streets at 600hp i will have a very mild DD tune on E85 around 15PSI and I will have a moderate tune with around 25psi on premium and a race tune only at 30+ on straight race gas.

And it also helps when you are going to have one of the best people I know 99GST_RACER with the compound turbo set up tuning your car :) cant wait.

Yes for sure man. Yah just keep posted on my builkd log I try to update it everytime I touch the car. As far as progress I can say I have every part bought for this car the only thing I still need to do to get it on the road is put it toghther :D and buy DSM LINK and my ACT 6 puck sprung other then that Its just a time thing now. unfortunatly I am leavign for my college spring break to Flordia here feb 27 so I will be taking a week break. but I will be sure to keep everyone updated. thanks for the intrest in the build.:thumb:

Why is your premium fuel tune going to run more boost than your e85 tune :confused:
 
Ya we shoulda thought about that last night when we blew up my car now we have to build two motors in a week...LOL :cry:

I dont think i have large enough fuel injectors to run 25 psi on e85
 
Yah by the time i get to DSM/EVO Shootout this year i hope to be running a different fuel setup like 1600 injectors a fuel cell with a bosh inline pump, along with a hx40 pro and I will switch to a t3 setup with 44mm tial wastegate. But hey im not even done with this setup and i want to go bigger :) but it has been so long with out my car and the 2001 purple plymouth breeze is starting to get to me LOL. so ill go with the current setup i have listed to get the car on the road and do a few runs and break everything in and let my bank recover a little from my build and upgrade and be ready for the dyno at the shootout :hellyeah:




Yah i know what your talking about i'm a little over 6' tall and i dont even have my seat in the car yet and i looked funny trying to crawl over the door bar and between the steering wheel.... I dont know how im going to accomplish this everyday. :tease:

I agree with yea. I'm in the same boat. I was going to get a hx40 on my car while I have it in the garage but decided to just get it back running with the 16g. I'm drivin a 94 Corsica so I feel yea there.

I am about to purchase a 97-99 v6 4runner limited with the electronic rear locking diff. Best suv ever made and I can't wait to lift and supercharge it.
 
I've got 1150's and I'm running 25psi with e85



well ill see what my tune looks like and ill see how much i can run on e85 i might bo a little higher but i dont need 25 psi on the street ill be happy with 15 so...

Ahhh no street racing for me. it can be a geo tracker trying to race me and ill drive normal.. gotta keep that on the track...

but yah injectors il keep till later down the road and plus i got my 1000's for 100 dollars :) cant beat that
 
Well there was no progress made on the car this weekend but my powder coater did send me some pics of the progress he made on my parts. :thumb::thumb::thumb: Jeff for the Powder coating at http://www.jpcoatings.com/

This coming up weekend I will be finishing the roll cage. Get it all painted and installed. will Also be INSTALLING MY MOTOR :D ABOUT TIME...... also will be mocking up all my intercooler piping to send to Jeff for powder coating and maybe even hear the beast start up :aha:
