So I was shopping around for some KONI yellows for my set up since they are the best for the price range and man did I find a deal. I first went to the KONI website and they are doing their yearly 20% off promo. Awesome deal but still about $600 for a set shipped. I used the part numbers on Google and Auto Anything is offering them for $122.96 a Shock/Strut. Then first time users of the site get a 15% off coupon for starting a account. I paid $104.52 per Shock/Strut and $418.06 for a full set shipped. OO yeah FREE SHIPPING

I haven't received them yet as they just shipped out today and I am deployed so my brother in law will be getting them for me. But all I can say is if you where looking for some new Shocks here is the deal of the year.

I saw these on autoanything.com but didn't realize there was the 15% off too. Do you know how long the 15% off will go for?

If you start an Account on the website or just Enter First15 in the promo it should work anytime. They offer a ton of discounts man they emailed me 10% promo codes just for looking at an item. :thumb:

Hopefully you will get them soon. I found some great pricing and had Summit price match or the Koni. I waited almost 2 months to get them to my door.

I JUST CHECKED AND IT SAYS CARTRIDGE ONLY. SO IT'S NOT THE WHOLE STRUT? also THEY ARE $138/EACH AND ONLY THE FRONTS ARE AVAILABLE

Its been like that for 1g's. The fronts have always been cartridges, just follow the instructions. Then, the rears, you have some choices, bolt on some 2g rears, as someone already did in the tutorials, or adapt an evo rear set (ie. welding).

Still, I'd jump on it, but I'm over budget as is. (Also you are communicating like you have headphones all the way TURNT UP IN YO EARS YO!)

This is semi off-topic, but I know the rear KONI Yellows for 1g AWD (KONI 8040-1129Sport) were discontinued a few years back.

Here's a handful of sites that are advertising the rears for sale though. Are any of them legit?

TunersDepot.com
SportCompactOnly.com
TunerSports.com

Their website names aren't really inspiring confidence.
Those places don't keep any inventory. When an order comes through, they have a warehouse supplier or the manufacturer fill the order and dropship it to you. I would bet my left turbo that if you placed an order from them, they'd contact you the next day to inform you the product is no longer available. Seen it a thousand times...

Ohh, and I did just confirm with KONI North America that the part number is still indeed discontinued and inventory has been depleted for years. So, unless someone still has these on the shelf from several years ago, they are unobtainable.

Well, I just ordered the fronts. Hope they are worth it. I'll source 2g rears as advised.

They are on the way to my house as we speak. I am Deployed to the desert also so I have a few months till Ill actually be able to bolt them up.

They had them right there. I ordered the fronts and rears for my 2G that is what the whole point of my first post was.

I see, well I typed in 1999 eclipse and BAM, they came up as a complete assembly. I now ordered the 2g rears. I guess the fronts will need to be fit by me. Thanks again, I wasn't thinking straight yesterday.

For the rears:

The Koni fronts for the 1g have always been cartridge only...
Koni strut cartridge install

Same write up I used 10 years ago to do my Koni install.

That is a great website to get brake rotors as well. I love the centric rotors! Free shipping is hard to beat. I wish they had a better selection of pads though.

I just ordered my set too! Thanks a ton for that find man!!! $443.29 for 1g fronts and 2G rears.

No problem man I just wanted to pass on the good deal to others looking for a suspension set up.

Now I have to wait 3 months to even see my car again. But I did get them in and my brother opened them up and snapped a few pictures for me. They are legit and seem to have all the parts needed. :hellyeah:

I bought them on Sat. They shipped on Mon and I got them today (Wed). BNIB $443 shipped which is at least $200 cheaper than normal! If not closer to $240 cheaper! I got an automated confirmation email the same day I ordered and they mailed a tracking number Tues afternoon. Couldn't ask for better service and I hope they have more stuff that I need over the years!

I ordered mine on Monday. Should be here tomorrow. GC's should be here Monday. I am pretty stoked.

Koni's are here and now time to order some Ground controls.

GC shipping is expensive...like $25 if you order off their site. I called and asked if they had any kind of free of discounted shipping code, and they told me the best they could do was $18 shipping if I ordered over the phone. Obviously I went that route. $7 buys me lunch one day at work, ha ha.

Also, not sure what you plan on doing with your car, but I drive mine a lot on the street so the spring rates they suggested for me were 440 front, 300 rear.
