2G Tokico Springs on Koni Yellows?

every thread i look at has tokico springs installed on the illuminas. However I am buying just the springs and wondering if it will give me the same drop as if they were installed on the illuminas. I'm installing them on my koni yellows. I bought some springs on ebay and they were a 2" drop which was way too much since i havent gotten the fenders rolled yet. Supposedly the guy selling the tokico springs says they will give a 1.5" drop f&r. I was actually hyoping for more of a 1.2" drop but i cant afford to drop the paycheck on new eibachs. I'm picking the tokicos up for $75. What do you guys think?

All other things being equal, the spring is what sets the ride height. Shocks are merely dampers used to control the motion of the suspension. With that said, if the two shocks have the same length and spring perch position, the ride height should not be any different between the two. Hope this helps.

ok thanks for the help. A lot of people seem to use the tokicos with the illuminas, hopefully they work just as well with my koni's
