KONI Yellows on sale!!

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Ordered! I should just know that on the day I get paid, I should just NOT go onto tuners. It always ends up with me spending money on something awesome! I just couldn't beat this price and have desperately need some, to the point of a safety issue!

Great find! You should contact the company and tell them that you setup this post, they might give you some money back! I have heard some companies giving 5% back if you setup a review or a post about their product.

^ what rear sleeves did you end up using? 1g or 2g? Also your not running helper springs?

The sleeves up front are for a 1G, the sleeves out back are for 2G. I believe on GC's site they have a drop down Koni option that you would select if doing the 1G/2G koni option, and you could also put in the notes section of the order what you are doing.

GC told me that helpers spring weren't necessary. They are nice to have, and I will probably get some for the future, but I was told I didn't need them. I was fine with that because helper springs aren't cheap and then you have to buy the couplers. Just for the rears you are talking another $100 per side.

What spring rates did u end up choosing? What length front/rear? Got any pics of the fronts installed?

440 front 300 rear.

6"

Don't have the fronts on yet. The car is completely disassembled. I hope to get the motor and trans in this weekend.

From the suspension voodoo that I have managed to read through and halfway comprehend :D, 1Gs need less spring cause they have a higher motion ratio. The wheel has less mechanical advantage over the spring so we don't need as high of a spring rate.

I went with 500 frt and 375 rear. Our front to rear spring rate "spread" doesn't need to be as far apart either, since the rear motion ratio is close to the front. The rear is just supporting less weight and needs less spring. I calculated 128% front to rear difference and kept it as close to that as possible. I was gonna get 450/350, but I wanted a little more spring.

God I hope I understood all that cause my brain hurts from hours and hours of reading since I bought my Konis and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my kit today!

Worse comes to worst and you don't like the spring rates, you can just buy different springs. It's not like they are hard to swap put on these things.

How are you guys mounting/securing the rear brake lines with the konis?

I've received my Koni Yellows last Friday!

I'm very happy!

For those asking... I also ordered a set of Ground Control Coilover Kit with Eibach ERS Springs from Kuruma Motoring...

They were $429 and free shipping to Miami Florida... I still haven't received them yet, but I hope they get here this week!

Calling doesn't work. Sounds like they forgot to exclude certain (all?) brands from the original coupon. Looks like they just fixed that bug :).

So if you must have it now, like I do... you ether buy them at Autoanything for $245/pair or at AJUSA for $244/pair.

I understand that these physically compatible to 1G's, but has anyone ever looked into the damping rates of 1G and 2G models?

Did you sign up for their mailing list to get the unique 15% off code because that was the only one that worked for me. Their regular sales code doesn't work.
