Stance Nation is just that.. Stance nation. It doesn't ONLY carry Hella-Flush content but it will give you a nice spectrum on what there is in terms of degrees of "Stances" or whatever you'd want to call them. My point is that Hella-Flush is SPECIFIC.

I just described to you what Hella-Flush is. The problem is is you are doing the same thing every other person who doesn't know better and simply think that every single dropped import is "Hella-Flush". No, they are not. Are they imitating Hella-Flush? Possibly but that doesn't meant that they are.

I guess its hard to describe. Its like the brands Xerox and Lexan. When someone wants a paper faxed or copied they ask for it to be "Xeroxed" when someone wants Polycarbonate plastic for a window they are installing they say, "Do you have Lexan?" See Hella-Flush in a sense is a specific brand that it seems every single dropped import is being moonlighted under. VIP guys run into the same issues with "branding" that we do. Yes we are the "hot-trend" like "Trendy name" most notable in magazines and forums around but you have to remember that we still have specifics.

I'm not saying you are wrong in hating the things you hate. You are entitled to that, I am simply another Hella-Flush person who is trying to keep people from blurring the lines and generalizing us all into the same bubble. Thats all. I'm not trying to be a dick or high and mighty its just frustrating because I ehar it all the time.

Some of you need to get out and meet new people, talk to people and see what dif. car scenes are about before acting like a dumbass and completely bashing everyone else. Get to know people, know the scenes before you just write it off. all my family and family friends are into muscle cars, and tractor pulling . im into sport compacts and road racing, and yet we are all smart enough, and mature enough to have a mature conversation. I've learned to just keep quiet about my "hellaflush" love. This website is not open minded about these sort of things, and it is a mainly performance based website.

90% if dsmers are not open minded. If its not a 600hp car, no one cares. Dsm'ers arent into looks, or wheels. This is one of my reasons for parting out. I got sick and tired of the dsm crowd and their attitudes toward the other cars. What i find really funny, is I jump on here every once in a while. I find these posts about bashing on hondas and what not. Then I see the main guy that is bashing on the cars, is a 1g car with a 16g at 16psi. Maybe putting down whopping 200whp. The dsm crows needs to grow up and be what it use to be 2 or more years ago. There are just too many young kids out there now that give a terrible name for the dsms.

On the hellaflush subject. I have states before, I like it when its tolerable. They are pushing that to the limits now, which I find ridiculous.

I think of show vs go in the car world as the same thing as the clothes fashion fads...

You'll have people who will drop big bucks on name brand clothing, and keep up to date on clothing fads and then you have people like me who are happy with $5 hanes plain black tees, and maybe occasionally a Ralph Lauren polo (but that's rare).

I like LOOKING at stance but how about DRIVING with stance, two completely different things. Theres a point where the car isn't practical anymore because of how low it is and only looks good until you find yourself driving into a parking lot or hitting a speed bump. I got fed up with my car being way too low and raised the damn thing, everytime I'd hit a bump everyone in the car (including me) would cringe.
