How to properly mount your 2g Rear Diff

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Bought this yesterday from a local. And haven't looked into it yet.
But a few posts back I saw a comment on bolts.
What are the sizes and amounts needed to complete the install.
Want to send the car to my welder but don't want to waste his time by him having to find bolts, etc.

Thanks for any help

This is the only rear mounting kit I offer at the moment. Just as good as solid without NVH. It's a one size fits all. I have 5 kits left.

Are these available? Working on subframe and would love to have these. PM me please. Thank You

I am glad to see you are still making these rear diff mounts and supporting the DSM community BostonHatcher. I have been running on of your diff mounts for a very long time and can say that without your diff mount I would not be able to cut the 60 foots that I do. Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much! What's your best 60' time so far?

I had a customer contact me about using these mounts. All he had was the poly subframe inserts while still using one mount with a poly insert and a frontline fab diff cover. It looks like the diff is still twisting and forced a subframe bushing out.

Just seeing this thread for the first time and love the idea. Seeing guys spend $4k+ on tubular rear subframes, 3000gt rear diff, getting modified rear axles to make it fit, etc. etc. etc. Just to have a "supporting" mod that makes 0 hp increase. I'm just thinking, "There HAS to be a better way than that". Apparently there is. Just hope you're still making them.

Tim, you still running these? Anyone broken a rear diff? Assuming it's the 2 aluminum bushings and one metal tab that you sell, and then whatever bushings, from wherever people are getting them, etc??? Rear end and all that has been the last thing on my mind as far as modding but now the power levels should be there. Assuming it would last better for me being that I'm converting to auto. And has anyone broken a rear diff yet? Would really love to keep it simple with as many stock parts as possible. Let's keep this thread going??? I may need to grab a set soon but would love to hear updates (as well as where people are getting the other parts from for the bushings and such).

I really haven't driven my car much in the last few years but I have had no issues with my rear end when I was still racing.
