Yeah, we went through this not long ago. It's a terrible idea. The rockers do no come off if the valve train remains in control. If your rockers are comming off, fix the problem, not the symptom, or else you will be buying a motor.

Was really wierd. Wastegate was stuck so all the boost was comming out of the blow off valve at 23 psi. Tightens bov and then boost creep started so I replaced the waste gate and all good now.
