Did you even read the thread? Or you could look around on the FP site. Click on exhaust, there is a 2.5" and a 3" version.

FP Makes a custom 02 Housing. The most recent version of it that I have seen has studs coming out of it that you can just slide your downpipe over. You can't yet understand how much work that will save you trying to get your downpipe on and off. Its beautiful. You could also fabricate your own.

I went with the 2.5" O2 (had the studs coming out already), and it bolted right up to my 3" DP and looks great. Building your own 02 might prove to be a real PITA because of the v-band clamp. I would say go with the 2.5" if you don't feel like doing any modification to your downpipe, but either way definitely pay the money and go with an FP piece, it's worth it.

slow connection and the fp3052 is new to me as it was never considered until now ... I was set on the scm61.

My 3052 should be arriving next week, and my car will be dynoed proptly after that.

I built my own O2 housing for my setup. It wasn't something that I'd want to do again, but it went a lot smoother than I expected!

These turbos are very nice. Now they just need to make them for the EVO's!!!!!

does anyone know which dnp manifold jdmawd is using... i looked on the dnp website and couldn't find anything that looked like his... plus they're all for the 4g63 and i have the 4g64

i'm getting the same turbo as jdmawd the fp3052... no i have the 2g head so i guess that i can't get the dnp manifold then??? what would be the best manifold to get with this turbo then

I'm pretty sure that's what he means by '63.' "Do you have a 4g63 (1g or 2g) head?" is what he was asking. If you do then I assume the DNP mani will bolt up just the same.

Also, the DNP mani that will work with the fp3052 will be the one flanged for a Mitsubishi turbo as seen here . Scroll down to "Standard Manifold." That's the one you're looking for. Unless of course you're not getting the wastegate on the O2 housing and you want it on the manifold. In which case you want the first manifold at the very top of the page.

Good luck with it,
Jake

I recieved my turbo within 2 weeks also. It was polished and had a 2.5" elbow welded on. I just got my car back together and took it to the track. I was only at 16 psi and was taking it real easy out of the hole (1.9 - 2.0 60 foot) and shifting at 6500 rpm to get a feel for my new setup. I managed a 12.7 @ 113. I was impressed by the mph. Also I have not even attempted to tune it yet so it was running pretty rich. It is running straight off of the stage 3 keydiver chip set up for my injectors. I used to have a 16g so my car feels a whole lot faster to me than it used to.

Here is my relevant mod list in case anyone cares.
FP 3052
FRH manifold
ADFX FMIC
HKS 272 cams
3" turbo back
2g exhaust manifold
stock 1g head
fuel system
etc...

I start to see positive boost by 3k and full boost by about 3500 - 3600. And in case anyonw cares I went out and started tuning and turning the boost up. I set it to 20 psi and man it scared me all over again. It was awesome. I love this turbo. When I am driving on the highway and accelerate a little it sounds like a semi truck :thumb: ! I just wish it would stop raining every day so I could really get a nice tune on it and get back to the track to post some more impressive #'s.

I got mine within a week or two when I ordered it. It was pollished by Forced Performance also. :thumb:
#### you man, I've been waiting for a month.

I had to wait awhile. The first time I called I was told, "It'll get shipped out beginning of next week." Which didn't happen. Every other time I called after that I got great customer service.

after hearing the price of what FP wanted for an 02 housing that dumped the wastegate back into the downpipe I decided to make my own, like lancer14. The whole thing took a hell of a lot longer, but is far far better than the price of having one made. Especially since I would have had to still make the connection to an existing downpipe and weld there.

Mine is made of 3" stainless and is v-band clamped with a stainless 02 bung. I got most of the supplies for the 02 housing and downpipe from www.burnsstainless.com.

....and yes I know the welds are ultra nasty, but I'm a novice DIY dsm guy at heart. Plus it's held up great for about 9 months now through all sorts of abuse.

Any boost creep issues?

absolutely none. I started out running 14 psi of boost and am now running 26 psi on pump gas. Not a single problem with creep, even at 14. The tial wg is nice.

Interesting,

The whole thing took a hell of a lot longer, but is far far better than the price of having one made.

for some reason i just cant agree
